Another Saturday night in the tent along the Fundy coast! Woke up in the middle of the night to big thunder crashes and intense lightening. When it passed over, We slept soundly in the heavy rain. Hiking back to the car we spotted this waterfall.

Our latest adventure to the mountains at Mount Carleton Park had everything! Danger! I nearly slipped off the highest peak in the Maritimes! Gluttony! We had great food! Mystery! A chance encounter with strangers who stole our campground! ;) It's all in this edition of BadAssCamping!

Hiked 2 mountains, saw a moose in a lake a couple kms away. Ate some great camp food and nearly fell off the highest peak in the Maritimes. Blog post coming up

This past weekend, we met a couple who converted their mini van, into a camper! It reminded me of this guy I met while hiking the Appalachian Trail.

Went backpacking, picked some blueberries, found a 15 pack in the middle of the woods (not joking), watched a beaver swim up and down the river beside our campsite gathering building materials for its house, it worked well into the night... i could hear it chomping away when i woke up st 326am. It was a pretty good weekend... also not sure if beer was the beavers. We didn't stick around, we left early this morning
