In this episode, Cleoni Crawford interviews Gabby Wnek.Gabby is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner with over 8 years of clinical experience helping women through burnout, anxiety, depression, stress, and trauma. Through her coaching services Gabby helps burnout anxious high achieving women identify areas of burnout to create more choices in their lives and increase their capacity for stress. She helps women clear out burnout so that they can learn the skills and tools to regulate and heal their nervous systems. Gabby has a bachelors in social work and psychology, masters in social work, and her somatic experiencing practitioner certificate for somatic therapy. Phyllis Leavitt has a Masters’ Degree in Psychology and Counseling from Antioch University. She co-directed the Parents United sexual abuse treatment program in Santa Fe, New Mexico for two years and then went into private practice full time. Phyllis has treated children, families, couples, and individual adults for 34 years, and has worked extensively with abuse and dysfunctional family dynamics, their aftermath, and some of the most important elements for healing. She has two previous books, A Light in the Darkness and Into the Fire. Her latest book, America in Therapy: A New Approach to Hope and Healing for a Nation in Crisis, published by Morgan James Publishing, explores the roots of divisiveness and violence in America from a psychological point of view, with the goal of bringing the best of what heals relationships and restores us to safety, into national conversation. Phyllis lives with her husband in Taos, NM and is now focusing on writing and speaking.

Orestis Vasilakis is a certified hypnotherapist with a passion for helping individuals conquer chronic pain and enhance their overall well-being. Before diving into the realm of hypnotherapy, Orestis was a theoretical physicist in academia.
Their personal journey has been marked by the challenges of chronic pain, stemming from a fibromyalgia diagnosis and various orthopedic injuries. It's been a journey filled with ups and downs, requiring ample doses of luck and experimentation to reach where they stand today. Their mission is to speed and ease this process for others, guiding them toward the mindset shifts necessary to break free from pain and elevate their quality of life.

Treshawna Dehaney is a third year University Student at Ontario Tech University. She is en route to get her Bachelors in Biological Sciences, with a major in Life Sciences and a minor in Sustainability Studies. After the completion of her degree, Treshawna is making it a priority to make a difference for BIPOC Women in the Medical field. Besides being a hardworking student, Treshawna is the Founder & CEO of The Revelation Attire Clothing line that makes it a priority to give back within the community. She is also an author, who has recently released her first poetry book titled: Mishandled.

A Doctor of Philosophy and congregational and spiritual leader, Rabbi Alfredo has helped individuals find purpose and meaning in life for over thirty years. He is a social worker, receiving the Adelphi University 2016 “Inspire Award” for extraordinary achievement, determination, advocacy, and leadership. He is certified in executive coaching, Myers Briggs personality inventory, and Positive psychology. He is an alumnus of the Gleen program on spiritual entrepreneurship at Columbia University Business School. He is one of the 20 spiritual leaders invited to participate in the spirituality and mental health certification by the Spirituality Mind and Body Institute at Teachers College, Columbia University.

Welcome back to another episode of Resilient Minds 365. Today’s guest is Patti Woodworth-Norris. Through her own journey with anxiety, depression, and chronic pain along with treating hundreds of patients throughout her career with chronic stress-induced illness, Patti Woodworth-Norris realized the profound impact that stress physiology has on all aspects of health. By rewiring her brain and rebalancing her nervous system, she was able to free herself from anxiety, depression, chronic pain, and many other physical symptoms and stress patterns. She has since helped many clients do the same with diverse health issues, traumas, and self-sabotaging patterns. Patti is now a firm believer that everyone with a chronic health issue will benefit from neural retraining, and in many cases it is critical to healing.

Welcome back to another episode of Resilient Minds 365. Today’s guest is Epiphany Jordan. Epiphany Jordan, MPH, CPH, is on a mission to rebrand human touch. Prior to the pandemic, she ran the Austin, Texas-based hands-on touch business, Karuna Sessions, a ritual of human connection that provided immersive touch therapy. She is the author of Somebody Hold Me: The Single Person's Guide to Nurturing Human Touch, and spoke about using human touch to solve loneliness at South by Southwest. During the pandemic she returned to school at the University of South Florida where she received her Master's in Public Health in 2023. studied public health, social marketing, and became certified as a health and wellness coach. When she applied for graduate school, she said in her statement of purpose that she wanted to rebrand human touch, and did a research project around that concept for one of her classes. Her professional aspiration is to start a conversation about how our current ideas around human touch are leaving many people lonely and isolated, and how we could shift our thinking to make it more accessible and inclusive.

Welcome back to another episode of Resilient Minds 365. Today’s guest is Ron Blake. Ron Blake was born and raised in suburban Chicago. Graduating with an MPA from Indiana University. Blake has become known; especially in his central Phoenix neighbourhood, as that artist with the boards. His medium is the human interaction he’s had each day for 2,846 days. Meeting 32,441 complete strangers one by one across the U.S. and Mexico.
Those interactions are expressed as social practice artwork. Contributions by those strangers in 94 languages with 27 Sharpie marker colours are on 498 giant foam boards and dozens of smaller ones.
Blake had a moment of laughter on a suicidal night that started this artistic journey. Realizing hope in an unlikely spot. He was nominated for and gave a TEDx talk about the evolution of this creative journey.
Additionally, the artist has written more than 200 short stories, Op-Eds, and Letters to the Editor for a multitude of publications. Many of those pieces have used Blake’s creative recovery odyssey as a muse for entertaining and informing his readers.

Cleoni never thought that she would find herself with a mental illness. She was a good Christian and Christians did not get mental illness. So she believed.
In this book, The Music of My Life, Cleoni Crawford shares her journey with bipolar disorder and how God, music, a strong support system helped her navigate through her illness and eventually discover her purpose.
You will receive insights into the lens of a woman living with Bipolar Disorder and how you can spot some of the signs in your friends and loved ones. The Music of Life is filled with various emotions from laughter, tears to shock.
This book promises to leave you inspired, educated, and the ability to know-how to support someone with a mental illness.
