For the 2nd annual AGIFF Film Festival Toronto

AGIFF will include competitions in several categories comprised of Feature Films, Short Films, and Student Films. The winners will be awarded by the festival statuette known as the “Crystal Arkab”, as well as monetary prizes.
AGIFF is planned and executed annually under the supervision of Abdol Reza Kahani. Kahani is an Iranian screenwriter and movie director who has achieved several accolades globally and has been recognized as an award-winning filmmaker in many international film festivals.

Filmmaking Workshop for “Norouz Film Festival” in collaboration with Toronto Film School and Ark Gate Films

We are so excited to announce our very first collaboration between Ark Gate Films and Toronto Film School will be a short film Festival named “Norouz” film festival. The festival will be held on the Toronto Film School campus in April 2022.
Ark Gate Films is helping select students who wish to create their own short film for this years festival.
We will have a one day workshop that helps you to make a short film for this festival .
1. The workshop for the Ark Gate films and Toronto Film festival will be a one day filmmaking workshop from 9am-5 pm.
2. Selected filmmakers need to send their scripts by March 3rd.
2. Selected filmmakers need to have high quality cellphones for making the short film.
3. All films will be created under Abdolreza Kahani’s supervision.
4. The workshop takes place on Ark Gate films campus located at 18 Mill street Thornhill , L4J8C5.
5. Registration deadline: March3rd
6. Workshop date: March 6th
7. Fee: 350$

The ARK GATE TORONTO INTERNATIONAL FILM Festival has joined with FILMFREEWAY! Global Film Registrations will start on February the 1st.
The festival is held annually, on dates June 29 to July 3 in Toronto with the presence of famous Iranian director and festival founder Abdolreza Kahani for 5 days in different settings, all dedicated to independent films with free themes and also to stand against censorship.
The first edition of the festival was held last summer and it’s second is upcoming this year.
Selected films will be screened outdoors and on the big screen at night, other activities will be held in the afternoon including the red carpet, the film market, workshops and celebrations.
The festival prizes “Crystal Arkab” will be awarded to the Best Acting, Best Directing, Best Screenplay and Best Film.
In the acting category, women are judged alongside men and only one person is awarded.

فستیوال ARK GATE TORONTO INTERNATIONAL FILM به FILMFREEWAY پیوست و از اول فوریه ثبت‌نام جهانی فیلم‌ها آغاز خواهد شد.
این فستیوال زیر نظر عبدالرضا کاهانی کارگردان ایرانی همه ساله در تاریخ ۲۹ جون تا ۳ جولای به مدت ۵ روز در تورنتو و در فضایی متفاوت به شکل حضوری برگزار می‌شود که بیش‌تر به فیلم‌های مستقل با مضامین آزاد و برای مقابله با سانسور اختصاص دارد.
نخستین دوره‌ی فستیوال، تابستان سال گذشته‌ی میلادی برگزار شد که امسال دوره‌ی دوم آن خواهد بود.
نمایش فیلم‌های منتخب، شب‌ها در فضای باز و روی پرده‌ی بزرگ انجام می‌شود و بعد‌از‌ ظهرها سایر مراسم از جمله فرش قرمز، بازار فیلم، کارگاه‌های آموزشی و مهمانی‌ها برگزار خواهد شد.
جوایز مالی و اعتباری به برندگان اهدا می‌شود و نام تندیس فستیوال Crystal Arkab است که به برگزیدگان بازیگری، کارگردانی، فیلم‌نامه و بهترین فیلم اهدا می‌شود.
در بخش بازیگری، زنان در کنار مردان مورد قضاوت قرار می‌گیرند و جایزه فقط به یک نفر اهدا می‌شود.

YOU WON’T SEE WINTER feature film festival screenings

YOU WON’T SEE WINTER feature film, the latest work of Abdolreza Kahani and produced by ARK GATE FILMS Inc., festival screenings continues.
The film has been accepted in 8 international festivals and has received 5 monthly awards.
The festivals of Batumi in Georgia, Rhode Island in America, MILAN GOLD AWARDS in Italy, five continents in France, DIMENSION in Indonesia, Bridge fest in Canada, CKF in England and lulea in Sweden have accepted the film and the film has won 3 Best Film Awards and 2 awards for Best male actor and Best female actress.
The film will be released after festival screenings in France, Canada and several other countries.
The story of the film is about the leaking of a video of two girls having s*x in the car of a man who is responsible for censoring the Internet in the Iranian government.
The film is made in Canada and is a joint product of Iran and Canada.
Ali A***na, Sadaf Shakori, Ghazal Parto, Nazanin Arabani and A***n Abbasnia are the actors in the film.
Moeinreza Motallebi is the director of photography, David Moffat is the sound recordist, Alireza Alavian is the sound specialist and Shima Monfared is the film editor.
