I've been struggling with this, struggling with staying silent or speaking up.

The thing is that I truly believe that if you're not part of the solution, then you're part of the problem.

It's time for an honest conversation and if we're going to talk, then let's talk. Right now we are in crisis, we've all been hit hard. As individuals, as businesses and as organizations.

That being said, now is not the time to give in to fear, racism or apathy. This is a war for our very humanity.

Like most things in life, this can't be about you or me but about what is right and what is wrong.

The has a campaign called "Diversity is strength." Those words resonate with me. We can and should step into and embrace our differences as we realize that being different is ok.

Once we as individuals learn to embrace those differences, it becomes a lot easier to do our small part to help.

These small acts of kindness and humanity multiplied by thousands of people, become a tidal wave of hope.

At the end of the day, isn't that what we all want?! Hope for ourselves, hope for our families and our communities, hope for a better life through positive change?!
