TRIBUTE TO MY SUPERWOMAN .
Mummy, with a heavy heart and uncontrollable tears, I write this tribute. Though I knew a day like this might come, your passing struck me with a shock too harsh to bear. Since you've been called to glory, I've found myself constantly reflecting on the times we shared—from my childhood, through my teenage years, to adulthood. You were always there for me, my unwavering pillar.
You are my superwoman, celebrated not only for your remarkable achievements and the positive impact you made in my life but also for the lasting legacy you've left behind. Your resilience, industrious spirit, courage, bravery, boldness, intelligence, graciousness, supportiveness, beauty, patience, respect, empathy, and above all, your fearlessness have made you a role model and mentor to me and to many. You embody the quintessence of what it means to be a successful and resourceful mother.
Mummy, you are irreplaceable, the best mother anyone could ever hope for. You will forever remain in my heart, a mentor and superwoman without end. You instilled in me the belief that with determination, I could achieve anything I set my mind to. I've witnessed breakthroughs from the moment I embraced your teachings—a testament to your wisdom.
"My friends often remark on my strength," and I proudly respond, "if only you knew the woman who gave birth to me." I am eternally thankful to God for bestowing upon me the strength of such an extraordinary woman, a legacy I am committed to passing on to my children.
Your industriousness, supportive nature, resilience, fearlessness, and fighting spirit are widely recognized by friends and family alike. Your legacy will undoubtedly live on through me, your grandchildren, and the generations that follow. The absence of your voice, calling me "Bar Rose" or "Ado yaa," leaves a void that words cannot fill. The expectation of your calls lingers, a reminder of our profound connection.
Witnessing you, through video calls, battling for your life with the valor of the greatest warrior, was heart-wrenching. Yet, we understand that it was God's will to call you to His side. The pain of not being there to hold your hand in your final moments is a burden I carry. Yet, in my heart, you remain forever cherished.
Goodnight, my superwoman.
Goodnight, my fearless fighter.
Goodnight, Mesienkeaka.
Goodnight, Mummy.
On the day of resurrection, we shall meet again, never to part.
BARR. MRS ADAOBI ROSE IBEH (Nee OFOCHE) Daughter.
