Jim Terrion needs our help!
This Canadian hero - who calls Prince George, British Columbia home - is extraordinarily close to reaching his MAJOR GOAL of raising $1 million for The Terry Fox Foundation!
Jim, despite being deaf, walked across Canada in 1990 in honour of his hero Terry Fox. The following year, he commenced his audaciously ambitious goal to raise $1 million for The Terry Fox Foundation by 2024.
As of right now, Jim has raised a total of $963,671. This means that Jim is $36,329 away from realizing his dream of reaching his $1 million achievement. Let's help him get there!
How can you assist in supporting Jim during this fundraising homestretch? Below are a few ways:
1) ๐๐ข๐ก๐๐ง๐. If you can spare $5, $10, $20 or any amount, this will help chip away at Jim's remaining fundraising amount. It's going to require a collective effort to help Jim reach the $1 million mark and there's power in numbers!
2) ๐ง๐๐๐ ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ฅ ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ก๐๐ฆ! Not everyone is aware of Jim's outrageously inspiring story. Perhaps you can let a couple friends know about Jim.
Equally as effective, inform your work colleagues. Donations from businesses are 100% tax deductible.
For anyone interested in making a donation, you can do some online through Jim's personal Terry Fox Foundation fundraising page:

Don't forget, this is a 2-for-1 deal... Every donation rendered simultaneously supports the legacies of two Canadian heroes: Jim Terrion and Terry Fox.
Thank you, Jim Terrion, for inspiring the nation by dedicating a quarter-century of your life towards raising $1 million for an incredible cause.
