I am BEYOND grateful to be participating in this wonderful event and even better cause. We get to send children with disabilities to accessible camp! How amazing is that?! This has actually been on my vision board for the past 3 years. Yes, I manifested this! A charitable organization and an advocate for people with acquired brain injury (me). How fitting is that?! I think it fits like a puzzle piece to a big puzzle. (Perfect fit!) This will consume much time, effort, resources, and of course; ALL OF MY PASSION! I could not think of a better cause to give back to. I'm so grateful for my community. 🙏🏻

Happy Thursday beautiful people! I had a such a wonderful Candid moment today with Sheri Tomchick. We talked about her 2 businesses ( A Healthcare & Staff Statt) that are completely taking senior care to the next level. Sheri's work ethic allows her team and staff to work in a supportive, caring, loving environment where they can feel confident, calm, courageous, caring and loving. Taking care of people is her first priority. Not only is putting Sudbury on the map, she is changing the way people can work in senior care across the country. Of course, I admire empowering women who make waves, which is why I am so excited to highlight Sheri on Candid moments with Candice Kirkbride. This woman HAS the Midas touch and she is able to continue to attract and manifest the kind of people, success, and continued gratitude into her life and businesses.

Happy Monday beautiful people!
I had a wonderful Candid moment today with Sudbury's very own Kimberley Deschenes. I've known her since 2010 and she is a Force of Nature! We covered everything from Northern Ontario Angels, pivoting in business, living with the aftermath of trauma, a near-death experience that changed her perspective on life, what perseverance means despite the fear, healing, acceptance, gratitude, all the while giving back to the community by sharing her story and inspiring others. Sounds AMAZING, right?! Well, that's exactly what it's all about. Gosh, I am so grateful to connect with FIGHTERS in Sudbury like Kim!

Happy Tuesday beautiful people!
I had a lovely Candid moment with Nancy Lavallee today. Abuse is sometimes the unsaid word, but what can happen after we climb out of the "dark hole" of depression? Some of my favorite stories are those of "triumph after tragedy". That is exactly what Nancy has done. She rose up from her darkest days to grow into a powerful woman with a positive mindset. Inspiring people like Nancy continue to inspire me to reach my goals and to become a better person. Sometimes we need to endure the toughest times in order to thrive.

Happy Saturday, beautiful people! I am happy to announce that tomorrow I get to celebrate 2 years of Candid Moments, as well as 22 years since my new beautiful life. I also get to continue celebrating others and their stories. This month's featured guest is my good friend Anthony Frisina This man is an absolute Rockstar and slap-stick comedian. He is incredibly inspiring! Me, on the other hand, I tend to vere off topic, sometimes ask stupid questions, but I have good intentions, and I lead with my heart. But that's besides the fact. I truly do love this episode because it is filled with inspiration and gratitude.

Happy Saturday beautiful people. I cannot wait to introduce you to my next guest. Anthony Frisina and I connected so much during our "Candid Moment ", that he has since had me on his show "Above & Beyond ",and he will have me return to his show this fall. I am so filled with Gratitude to have him as my new friend. This man is an absolute Rockstar! He inspires so many people on a daily basis, stands up for the right people, hustles his business, gives back to his community, was awarded the "Order of Hamilton " award as well as many other prestigious awards. He is also an absolute slap-stick comedy show all on his own, but when we get together, we are so much funnier!
Social media connected us and now we support each other's dreams. Seems unreal, right?
We even check in with each other weekly. How does one meet a complete stranger who has the same value system? This is by far the longest episode that I have recorded. It's a Candid moment (over 2 hours )filled with passion, inspiration, slap-stick comedy and a heart of gold. I am so excited to launch my episode with Anthony on Friday, March 31st. This man may be Hamilton's treasure but he is my new friend which I am forever grateful for.

Happy Wednesday beautiful people! I'm so grateful for having a Candid moment with North today. This young lady has published 3 fiction novels and is working on her fourth. We talked about the journey of writing, inspiration and of course Gratitude. We gave a shout out to Kenny Wilson, Author and Griffin as they are relevant to her success and we just adore them! I so love highlighting local talent! My community inspires me every single day! Brianna certainly has a bright future ahead of her! I'm blessed to be witness to it!

Seriously, I could not be more impressed with this guy! I did not want to end this ZOOM recording because it was SO MUCH FUN! Anthony Frisina is a speaker, author, advocate for people who are differently abeled, works at Mohawk College and is a community leader. If we do decide to do a comedy tour together, we shall call it "the first stand up/ sit down duo". This guy had me laughing so much! It was my longest episode so far! (2 hours long!)Gosh, I hope the audience loves it as much as we do!

I had a lovely Candid moment with Brent Giroux Spider from the REST Centre in Whitby, Ontario today. We got deep today! We talked about the benefits of Float Therapy on the brain and body, we talked about his next steps in his business, we talked about Acquired Brain Injury and their residual effects and how it effects us (individually) and SO MUCH MORE!
