Love this! Just ANYONE! If anyone tries to tell me that the government will do that or this to our children or to the parents if we don’t follow this or that. Just BACK OFF!!! They are our children, not anyone’s, we don’t co-parent with anyone, nor the government, nor the school board. We won’t let anyone indoctrinate our kids and teach them twisted values. If we will send our kids to private or public school, it will be our choice with lots of prayer and guidance from the Lord and not by anyone through pressure and fear.

Took us 2 hours to finish her Math. That’s 1 hour and 40 minutes longer than we should. I was supposed to work for an hour as planned and nap a bit (because my pregnant self gets tired easily). But that’s okay because she’s able to get the 1 on 1 attention she needs when having a hard time with a subject or topic.
That’s one of the perks of homeschooling… my kids gets the one on one attention and they get to study on their own pace. I don’t force them to move forward if they don’t understand clearly what we studied. Especially Reading, Writing, Math, and Science. When they grow up, they will appreciate how much effort and time i took for them to learn properly without stress and pressure. Of course we’re not perfect! There’s annoyance and interruptions, LOTS OF IT. But we are thriving!
If you might want to know why it took that long. She struggles with subtraction when the numbers goes up from 15+ but she’s so eager and motivated to learn. When things like this happen, I let her use materials such as popsicle sticks, marbles, and coins. This method helps her solve math problems and it really works for her. She’s only grade 2 by the way.
As for me, I was able to nap for 5 minutes and will try to catch up with work tomorrow morning before breakfast ❤️☺️
My main priority is to teach my children. Even if it tires me, because it brings me great joy.
