等咗二十年，經典終於登上大銀幕！🔥
《尋秦記》電影版 已確定於加拿大 Cineplex 排期上映 🇨🇦🎬

電影早前喺亞洲及多個地區上映後票房表現亮眼，話題度持續升溫，
北美觀眾亦非常關注。截至目前，只查到加拿大方面已確定上映日期，
美國上映資訊仍有待進一步確認。

一場多年前嘅冤獄，引發足以改寫歷史嘅連鎖反應——
現代人 Ken（苗僑偉 飾）穿越回秦代，

A legendary story returns to the big screen. ⏳🔥
“Back to the Past” is officially scheduled to screen at Cineplex theatres in Canada. 🇨🇦🎬

Following strong box office performance across Asia and multiple regions,
interest from North American audiences continues to grow.

After Hong Siu-lung’s disappearance through time travel,
Ken (Michael Miu) is wrongly imprisoned and loses everything.
Upon his release, he leads his daughter Galie (Bai Baihe) and a team to steal the CME machine.
Using a face-duplication device, Ken plans to impersonate the Qin Emperor
and fulfill his long-held dream of becoming king — as compensation for everything he lost.

Meanwhile, in the Qin Dynasty, Hong Siu-lung (Louis Koo) lives in seclusion
with his wives Kam Ching (Sonija Kwok) and Ting-fong (Jessica Hsuan),
his son Bowie, and his blood brother.
Though life appears peaceful, the family remains under constant surveillance
by the Qin Emperor (Raymond Lam).

When Ken launches an ambush, the Qin Emperor narrowly escapes
and seeks help from Hong — leading to the long-awaited reunion
between mentor and disciple after twenty years.
With the unification of the warring states approaching,
fate, loyalty, and survival collide once again.

電影《尋秦記》電影版已於多個地區上映及即將上映，包括中華及東亞地區、英國、荷蘭、澳洲及紐西蘭，惟加拿大及美國至今仍未公布任何正式上映檔期。與此同時，電影於社交媒體上卻已展開鋪天蓋地的宣傳，令北美影迷與劇迷在高度期待之餘，亦倍感焦急。

此類情況並非首次出現。早前風靡亞洲的電影《九龍城寨之圍城》，其北美上映時間一度較香港延後近五個月，後來雖調整為延後約三個月，但正式上映時，整體熱度已明顯回落。更令人遺憾的是，該片在北美正式上映前，已於多個非法串流平台上流通。

其結果不僅造成電影公司及發行商的實質損失，亦對香港電影產業造成傷害，更辜負了一群願意入場支持港產電影的北美觀眾。

誠盼《尋秦記》不會重蹈覆轍，讓觀眾的期待不再被時間與制度所消磨，最終化為失望。

While Back to the Past (尋秦記) has already been released—or is scheduled to be released—in many regions including China and East Asia, the UK, the Netherlands, Australia, and New Zealand, there is still no confirmed theatrical release date for Canada and the United States.

At the same time, the film has been heavily promoted across social media, leaving North American fans increasingly excited, yet frustrated by the uncertainty.

This situation is not new. A recent example is Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In (九龍城寨之圍城), which became a massive hit in Asia. Its North American release was initially delayed by nearly five months compared to Hong Kong, later shortened to around three months. By the time it finally reached theaters here, much of the momentum had faded. Worse still, pirated versions were already widely available on illegal streaming platforms before its official North American release.

The loss was not limited to box office numbers. It affected distributors, filmmakers, the Hong Kong film industry as a whole, and most importantly, audiences who genuinely wanted to support these films in cinemas.

Hopefully, Back to the Past will not repeat this pattern—and anticipation won’t once again be eroded by prolonged delays.
