We had a lot of fun decking the halls on this new Christmas movie for Hallmark Channel !

VFX matte paintings, screen replacements and paint fixes were just a part of work that Kerosene was contracted for! We were also responsible for generating backgrounds, blue screen keys and blending the Downtown Hamilton Landmarks into the snowy, fictional country of Nordin and its royal grounds.

We’d like to congratulate our friends over at Attraction on Winning the 2023 Canadian Screen Award for Best History Documentary Program or Series for: UNDERGROUND RAILROAD: THE SECRET HISTORY! An eye opening look at some of the lesser known facts and secrets of the underground network which helped enslaved people escape to freedom.

The Kerosene team had the pleasure and privilege of working alongside the team at Attraction to develop 2.5D Animations & 3D recreations of lost historical sites, tunnels, maps, communities and vessels that aided in the quest for freedom!

The Kids in the Hall: Comedy Punks is screening at the Ted Rogers Cinema as part of the Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival this week. Kerosene had a blast working with Reg Harkema and Blue Ant Media on some of the graphics for this documentary about these legendary Canadian sketch comedians.
