বর্তমানে একধরণের কথা চালু আছে যে বিশাল আকারে অনলাইনে আমাদের কার্যক্রম মনিটর করা হচ্ছে।কিন্তু আসলে গণহারে কোনো নজরদারি চলমান নেই বর্তমানে। আসুন কারণগুলো দেখি:

১. এনক্রিপশন: আপনার মেসেঞ্জারের ডাটা হচ্ছে এন্ড-টু-এন্ড এনক্রিপ্টেড। এনক্রিপশন হচ্ছে অনেকটা এমনযে আপনি আপনার বন্ধুর কাছে সিন্দুক পাঠাচ্ছেন। সিন্দুকের চাবি শুধু আপনার এবং আপনার বন্ধুর কাছেই আছে।অন্য কেউই এইটা খুলতে পারবে না। মেসেঞ্জারেও জিনিসটা একই ভাবে কাজ করে। আপনার সাথে আপনার বন্ধুর মেসেজ শুধু আপনারা দুইজনই দেখতে পারবেন। ফেসবুকও চাইলে দেখতে পারবে না এটা। এর উপর দিয়ে ভিপিএন ব্যবহার করলে আরো নিরাপদ।

২. ডাটার বিশাল পরিমাণ: বাংলাদেশে ফেসবুক ব্যবহারকারী প্রায় ০৫ কোটি। এখন কল্পনা করুন কি বিশাল পরিমাণ ডাটা আমরা প্রতি সেকেন্ডে জেনারেট করছি। এই বিশাল পরিমাণ Raw ইন্টারনেট ট্রাফিক ক্যাপচার করা, এবসর্ব করা,স্টোর করা এবং এনালাইসিস করা এবং আগের ডাটার সাথে প্যাটার্ন ম্যাচ করা অনেক বড় একটা বিষয়। এইগুলো করতে বিশাল পরিমাণ কম্পিউটিং পাওয়ার বা টাকা লাগে। আপনার কাছে এইটা সত্যি লাগলে আপনি আসলে এই সরকার যারা কিনা একটা ঠিকমতো টিকেট কেনার প্ল্যাটফর্ম বানাতে পারেনা তাদেরকে বেশি ক্রেডিট দিয়ে ফেলতেছেন। এই সরকার অলমোস্ট ২ বিলিয়ন ডলার হারায়ে ফেলছিলো হ্যাকড হয়ে ( আপনাদের জ্ঞাতার্থেঃ আজকে বাংলাদেশের ব্যাংকের ওয়েবসাইট আবার হ্যাকড হইছে)।

এখন দেখা যাক আপনার তথ্য কিভাবে সরকার এক্সেস করতে পারে -

১. তথ্য চাওয়াঃ সরকার ফেসবুকের কাছ থেকে আপনার তথ্য চাইতে পারে। কিন্তু এভাবে তথ্য পাওয়ার জন্য কয়েক সপ্তাহ পর্যন্ত সময় লাগতে পারে, এবং সেইক্ষেত্রেও প্রথমে আপনার বিরুদ্ধে লিগ্যাল ওয়্যারান্ট জারি করতে হবে, যেইটা আবার ফেসবুক রিভিউ করবে। এরপরেও ফেসবুক শুধু তাদেরকে মেটাডাটা দিবে- কখন মেসেজ পাঠানো হয়েছে, মেসেজের সাইজ, কে পাঠাইছে, কে রিসিভ করছে এইগুলা। কিন্তু কখনোই মেসেজের কনটেন্ট বা আপনার একচুয়াল মেসেজ আসলে কি এইটা দেখাবেনা। এরপরে চিন্তা করেন, বাংলাদেশে ফেসবুক এখন পর্যন্ত কোনো অফিস খুলতে চায় না। সিম্পলি বিকজ, বাংলাদেশের মার্কেট তাদের জন্য প্রফিটেবল না তেমন।

২. আড়িপাতা প্রযুক্তিঃ আপনাকে Pegasus প্রযুক্তি দিয়ে টার্গেট করা হইতে পারে। যেই ৪৫টা দেশ ইজরায়েলের কাছে থেকে এই প্রযুক্তি কিনেছে বাংলাদেশ তাদের মধ্যে একটা দেশ। এই আড়িপাতা প্রযুক্তি আপনার ডিভাইসে যেকোনোভাবে ইন্সটল হয়ে যেতে পারে- টেক্সট মেসেজ, ছবি, যেকোনো কিছুই। আপনাকে কোনো ক্লিকও করতে হবে না। এরপরে এই প্রযুক্তি আপনার ফোনের ডাটা চুরি করতে পারে বা আপনার ডিভাইসের ক্যামেরা বা মাইক্রোফোন ব্যবহার করতে পারে, আপনি জানবেনও না। এইটা আসলেও দুঃস্বপ্ন। কিন্তু এইখানে একটা ঝামেলা আছে- ঝামেলাটা হচ্ছে এক একটা ব্যক্তিকে টার্গেট করতেই ২৫ থেকে ৫০ লক্ষ টাকা পর্যন্ত লাগতে পারে। সো আপনি যদি একদম কি ফিগার না হন (যেমন বিরোধী দলের নেতা বা এমন কিছু), আপনাকে মনিটরিং তারা করবে না।

আপনাদের মনে এই ভয় বসায়ে দেওয়া হয়েছে যে সবকিছু মনিটর করা হচ্ছে, যেন আপনি এই ভয় থেকেই কিছু না করেন। আপনি মুক্ত ভাবেই কথা বলেন, লেখেন। কাওয়ার্ড হয়েন না, ভয়ে পেয়েন না।

আমি প্রায়ই একটা কথা অনেককে বলতে শুনি, যে, 'আপনারা কি অফিসে যাচ্ছেন না, দোকানপাট কি খোলা নাই, তাইলে আমরা কেন লাইভে আসবো না?'

তো এই পার্টিকুলার উক্তিটাতে আরকি আমার হালকা আপত্তি আছে। আপত্তির কারণ আর কিছুই না,' ফেসবুক এলগরিদম'! বিশ্বাস করেন, এই উদ্ভট বস্তুটা না থাকলে, আপনি এই সময় লাইভে এসে জামা কাপড় বেচবেন, না জামা কাপড় খুলবেন, আমার কিচ্ছু যায় আসে না তাতে!

ক্লিয়ার করি বিষয়টা (যদিও এগুলা আপনাদের ভালোমতই জানা, ক্যান যে তাও বলতেসি, ভেবে হাসি পাইতেসে আমার 😅) ।যারা এই পরিস্থিতিতে ইন পার্সন কিংবা ভার্চুয়ালি অফিস করছে, তাদের সাথে আপনার মূল পার্থক্য যে জায়গায়, সেটা হলো 'মাধ্যম'।

সেই চাকরিজীবি ব্যক্তি কিংবা কোন অফলাইন দোকানদার হাজার হাজার ফলোয়ার পকেটে নিয়ে কাজে যাচ্ছে না, কিংবা এই কেয়ামতের ভিতরে সবার নিউজ ফিডে ঢুকে নাচতেসে না!

যখন স্পষ্টতই আমাদের দেশের সংবাদ মাধ্যম কোমা তে চলে গেছে, বাতাবি লেবুর ফ্যাকটরি আগে একটা ছিল, আর এখন দেখা যাচ্ছে বাকিগুলাও বাতাবি লেবুর থেকে খুব উন্নত মানের কিছু না, এমতাবস্থায় যেকোন খবরের জন্যে আমরা, বিশেষ করে,বাংলাদেশীরা, ফেসবুকের উপর নির্ভর করবো, তাইনা? বাংলাদেশে এই ফেসবুকও ৮০% স্বৈ*রা*চারের দখলে, তাও অনেকটা ডুবন্ত মানুষ খড়কুটা যেমনে আঁকড়ে ধরে, অমনে এইটাকেই আঁকড়ে ধরবো; কারণ, আর তো কিছু নাই!

ইন্সটাগ্রামে দেখেছি, এই সোশ্যাল মিডিয়াকে অবলম্বন করে প্যালেস্টাইনের অসীম সাহসী সব সাংবাদিকরা পুরা দুনিয়ার কাছে, গণমাধ্যমের কাছে পৌঁছেছে। পুরা g@z@ ক্রাইসিস আমার আর আপনার চোখের সামনে ওদের অসাধারণ অসাধারণ দায়িত্বশীল ইনফ্লুয়েন্সার রাই আনসে।

এখন আমার দেশেও যখন একই সিচুয়েশন, আমি তীর্থের কাকের মত সারাক্ষন ফেসবুক নিউজ ফিড স্ক্রল করবো, একটু পর পর রিফ্রেশ করবো, দুনিয়ার কোন প্রান্ত থেকে কেউ যদি আমাদের নিউজ, তথ্য প্রমাণ প্রকাশ করে ওই আশায়, রাইট? Fair enough?

কিংবা ধরেন আমি কিছুই জানিনা, র‍্যান্ডমলি স্ক্রল করতেসি, তখনো যদি কোন নিউজ যদি চোখে পড়ে, (যেই নিউজ গুলা কিনা আবার ৫ মিনিটের মধ্যেই সরায়েও ফেলা হয়), আমি কিন্তু aware হইতেসি!

কিন্তু আপনাদের কারণে ক্রাইসিস পিরিয়ডে কি দেখা লাগে?

" হেলো আপিরা চলে আসলাম লাইভে, গরম গরম থ্রি পিছ নিয়ে! 'অথবা ইমার্জেনছি লেজার ক্রিম মেখে ১০ শেড ফর্সা হন"

আচ্ছা আমাদের কথা নাইলে বাদই দেন, শহীদ পরিবারগুলো থেকে হতভাগ্য মা বাবা, ভাই বোন, প্রিয় বন্ধু বান্ধবরা হৃদয়ে রক্তক্ষরণ নিয়ে আসতেসে ফেইসবুকে, ন্যায়বিচার চেয়ে পোস্ট করতে, কিংবা দুনিয়াকে জানাইতে তাদের উপর ঘটে যাওয়া এত বড় জু*লু*ম, আইসা কি দেখতেসে? 'আপনার নৃত্যকলা'! ওরা কিন্তু এলিয়েন না, আপনারই প্রতিবেশী, হয়তো আপনারই পেইজের 'ফলোয়ার' তাদের অনেকেই!

কি দেখতেসে আইসা? 'আপনার নৃত্যকলা' 🙂

আমি বলছি না যে, আমরা এইগুলি দেখার জন্যে আপনারাই এককভাবে দায়ী। এইটার দায়ভার অবশ্যই ফেসবুকেরও। সে এই ছাতার মাথা এলগরিদমটাই এমনভাবে বানায়ে রাখসে যে, আমার নিউজফিডে আপনার লাইভ যদি আসে, আর আমি ওইটার দিকে কিছু সময়ের জন্যেও এটেনশন দেই, এমনকি মনের ভুলেও যদি দেই, তাইলেও গোটা দিনে আমার কাছে খালি এইসব শপিং লাইভই আসতেই থাকবে। ধরেন আমার মত আপনার ২০ হাজার ভিউয়ার, তাদের বেলায়ও সেই একই কাহিনী ঘটবে। এখানেই শেষ না, সেই ২০ হাজার ভিউয়ারের থ্রু তে আবার মাল্টিপ্লায়ার এফেক্টে তাদের এফ এন এফ এর ফিডেও ওই লাইভের আপডেট যাবে। এভাবে, হাজার হাজার নিউজ ফিড ক্ষতবিক্ষত, রক্তাক্ত রণাঙ্গনের জায়গায় হঠাৎ করে রমরমা গাউছিয়া মার্কেট হয়ে যাবে। একটা vicious cycle এর মত চলতেই থাকবে, চলতেই থাকবে এই কাহিনী।

আপনি যতই বলেন না কেন, ভালো না লাগলে 'লিভ' দেন, লিভ কিন্তু ফেবু আমাদেরকে নিতে দেয় না ভাই 🙂 আপনি গেলে আরেকটা আসে!

আপনাকে সংসার চালাতে হলে, লাইভ করতেই হবে। I get that, no question about it। কিন্তু দয়া করে আপনি আপনার livelihood earn করতে যেয়ে যে এই নিউজ সার্কুলেশনের একমাত্র নিভু নিভু মিডিয়ামে Disruption and Distraction টা ঘটাচ্ছেন, এই দায় স্বীকার করার সৎ সাহস রাইখেন।

নির্লজ্জের মত প্লিজ বইলেন না 'আমি অফিস করতেসি'! কেননা, লিটারেলি বাচ্চাদের র*ক্তা*ক্ত কাফনের উপ্রে দাঁড়ায়ে সার্কাস করতেসেন আপনি, অফিস না!

এই জিনিস ক্যামেরার ওই প্রান্তে দাঁড়ায়ে আপনি বুঝার কথা না , কিন্তু যেসব অডিয়েন্সের ১% মনুষ্যত্বও বাকি আছে, তারা স্ক্রিনের অন্য প্রান্ত থেকে ঠিক এইটাই দেখে! 🙂

Therefore, while I understand your 'Need', I will never ever agree with your claim that, 'You are doing just another normal JOB'!

HIROK RANI is also slowly removing videos and posts that bear the proof of her massacre. But this is nothing new, this dictator has done it before as well.

Last Friday, my uncle went outside to distribute water among the students protesting on the road outside his house. This was considered as a crim* by the polic* who caught him by his collar and demanded that he hand over the keys to the gate of the colony as thats where the protesting students were given shelter. When he refused, he was sho*. Private hospitals refused to treat him so we took him to DMCH at 9PM where he was declared as dead at 3AM and the deat* stated reason of dea*h as heart attac*
How will his kids who are just 3 and 1 years old survive?

(Heart attac* can still be the reason and because of how packed DMCH and all the public hospitals are right now, I am not surprised that it took this long. If people are not dy*ng from bullets itself, they are dy*ng from heart attac* and loss of blo*d)

I have read the demands. So everyone needs to be suspended (?) and officials need to resign. But the main orchestrator, the one who ordered for all these murde** (our police department is not independent so if anyone had refused and if the high officials did not do as told, it could be considered as act of treason according to madam. She has sent people to jail for treason for way less) will simply get away by apologizing. Isn’t it a bit too late for that?
Do we really need her to apologize or do we need her and her BCL’s atrocities to end? Do we only need her to accept what she did or should we want her to step down from her high horse? Do we need people like Polok in the government who turns off all sorts of communications as he pleases and says “social media kill*d the students” ? Do we need ministers who have no say in country matter? The government needs reform and not just quota or police department.

Enough is enough!!!

Updates from Bangladesh - extremely hard to verify any information

- The govt imposed a curfew last night and asked the army to deploy. State Minister Obaidul Quader called for a "Shoot at Sight" Policy.

- This has failed. People have ignored the curfew, the army has not tried to force it on people and no one is being shot at sight by them

- Intense clashes continue all over Dhaka - Badda, Rampura, Rayerbagh, Mirpur-10, Uttara etc. In some places the general public have control of the streets while in others they have been trying to link up in side streets before protesting on the main roads. Police and Chatro League goons have opened fire multiple times. Students and protestors have been using sticks, rods and bare hands to fight back. Things have calmed down at night but continues in Jatrabari

- Outside Dhaka fighting has been reported in Narsingdi, Savar, Mymensingh, Sylhet, Chattogram amongst other places

- The number of dead is hard to know and any numbers are grossly underestimates. There are reports of multiple casualties amongst the police as well

- A lot of protest coordinators have been arrested or just taken away from their homes including Nahid the most famous of them. The leader of the 2018 protest, Nurul Haq Nur has also been arrested. A few opposition politicians too. Arbitrary arrests and detentions continue across the country

- Two coordinators have spoken to Netra News and Face the People respectively and have promised to continue. They won't sit with the government until their demands are met

- BBC Bangla is giving the most updates on the situation but are also compromised. A lot of their news updates are spewing govt propaganda - probably the reason why they are able to continue updates so frequently.

- The govt has declared holidays on Sunday and Monday in a bid to quell the protests.
