❌ Scam Partnership Alert ❌ To my fellow bloggers (especially the ones who have just started) I would like to share how I became a Victim of a Paid-Partnership Scam which costed me a high fee in renting a studio space, in paying the photographer, in wasting a lot of my time, and most importantly in causing me a huge amount of anxiety. I was approached by this company in order to create content for them & they would share it their Instagram account towards a paid - partnership at the amount of $700. Trust me everything looked so legit & accurate. I signed the contract, agreed to the payment & then I was asked to *Buy the product at 50% Discount*. This wasn’t mentioned until I signed the contract (👉🏻scroll through the pics for more)I started doubting about this paid-partnership but they ensured me that it’s just a small step of the process for other influencers too. I received the product after three weeks & proceeded with creating content which costed me $250 CAD. Once the content was ready, I send samples to them with the a logo on them for security. Ended up never hearing back from them & of not getting paid. My mistake? I got excited… I needed the money at that time.. I missed so many warning ⚠️ signs on making sure this company is a legit one on Social Media. Watch my Stories to learn more about the warning signs starting with the “Discount Trap” Red flag 🚩
