Our Story

Blended Family & Step Parent Support began as the side project of a woman who is both a mother & stepmother, a stepchild herself, and whose children have step-parents of their own.

As she navigated the legal and court systems several times, as well as experienced the harsh realities of blending a family - she realized there was a serious gap in the support that was offered to those experiencing the unique challenges that these types of families experience. After working alongside others in the field, and offering support to those she could, she decided to upgrade her education in the cousneling field, and so Blended Family & Step Parent Support began.

Rapidly, it became clear that she would be unable to provide everyone who requested it the help they needed, and she began to add to the team. Now, there are several team members living in several areas of the county, and they provide counseling sessions both in person and via Skype, as well as offer workshops and private retreats whenever possible. It has been an incredible experience, which has QUICKLY expanded into working with many clients from around the world. We are currently at capacity for new clients but do offer a waiting list and referrals to local services in your area when possible.
