At first glance one might think "Why would an excessive amount of positivity be a bad thing?", well, no worries as you are not alone. When I first read this two-word statement I was very much looking for the why I think it wouldn't make sense. After some learning, I think I figured it out. In this episode, I will walk through what Toxic Positivity means for Kirsten (Mother 'squatch to three young boys, and a loving wife to my best friend Aaron), and Niki (social services worker, sister-in-law, women's and mental health advocate) as they explain it to this limited man.
