In considering goodbyes, one author once wrote “Today I must say goodbye. Goodbyes are important. Without a meaningful goodbye, an effective closure, there cannot be a creative hello, a new beginning and hopeful commencement… In saying goodbye to each other and to our current ‘home,’ we are able to greet and affirm the new hope and anticipation. We affirm the new journeys yet to be taken, as individuals and as a family.”
This is how I feel about the saying goodbye to the FRC and to the families who considered it their second 'home'.
Closure is something we all crave and need. As hard as it can be to have those emotional conversations, it’s part of the process of properly leaving a place, or a person.
Join us tomorrow (Friday, June 30, 2023) for our last day at Promenade. Drop-in to say a final farewell to the FRC as we hold onto the memories we've shared and celebrate the friendships we have made.
