🛠 Struggling to find workers?

So was Matt Roberts. After leaving the UK construction industry to settle in Vancouver, the trained carpenter started a contracting company.

His labour solution was to draw on an extensive international network. It's a successful approach he has since expanded. Roberts now runs A Few Good Lads with the goal of supporting overseas workers looking for a better life and providing high quality and legal labour for construction.

"We want to develop people who are going to stay in Canada, be a part of the Canadian lifestyle and want to work in the industry,” said Roberts.

🍃 Batteries, electric cars, wind turbines solar panels and more — much of the green technology necessary for reducing global greenhouse gas emissions requires minerals mined from the earth.

On the front lines of this effort is Canada. According to the federal government, our country is home to almost half of the world’s publicly listed mining companies, including Teck Resources Limited, Agnico Eagle Mines Limited and Hudbay Minerals Inc. Combined, all these companies boast a market capitalization of $520 billion.

Here are just a handful of Canadian mining companies leading the charge to secure these critical minerals 👇

Solar panels, electric vehicle batteries, agriculture and more - mining is critical for humanity's future.

🌿 ECOPlanet cement emits no more than 400kg of CO2 per ton.
