Thank you so much to all of you amazing people who backed my vocal LP project. I’m so GOSHDARNED pleased!

There are still three days left, though! Every little bit of help helps more than just a little bit. Last time I used the extra investments to fund an orchestra, a string quintet and BRUCE COCKBURN! So, the better the budget, the better the record.

Tiers start at $12 CAD for an advance digital copy of the new album all the way up to a $2500 CAD tier that gets you LP, CD, USB collection, T-shirt and a PRIVATE CONCERT IN YOUR HOUSE.

Hey Leute! Ich hab mein neues Kickstarter-Ding gestartet ... um ein frisches Gesangsalbum von Don Ross noch dieses Jahr rauszuhauen. Mein letztes Projekt hat in 28 Stunden sein Ziel geknackt und am Ende hat sich das Ganze Ziel verdoppelt. Mal schauen, ob wir das dieses Mal noch toppen können! Danke euch schon mal!

Hey there everyone! I got my new Kickstarter project up and running…for the release later this year of an all-new Don Ross vocal album. My last project reached its goal in 28 hours, and ended up doubling over the course of the campaign. Let’s see if we can top even THAT this time!

UGGGGHH…there’s yet ANOTHER wave of this silly A=432 Hz nonsense making its way around Facebook. And of course, this musical version of the Flat Earth Theory has its devotees who are sure they will always have a full head of hair and never die if they just listen to all music tuned 8 hz (i.e. about a third of a semitone) flat. Of course, we can tune our instruments however we want, and it’s all good. But positing that the ISO standard of A=440 is somehow a N**i thing or a Soviet gulag thing, or that the Ancients somehow knew they were using 432 Hz without access to tuning forks or oscilloscopes or that there is anything significant about the number 432 itself is all complete horse hockey. Please don't give it heed. It’s a huge waste of time and energy. Tune however you like, but don’t get religious about it.

End of rant.
