I've been in PEI for the past week at The 2023 Canada Winter Games and they have been so exciting! I'm beyond blessed to have the opportunity to photograph some of Canada's top athletic talent in their element doing what they do best.

HUGE congratulations to the Saint John Sea Dogs in winning the Memorial Cup! The parade was amazing and the guys brought ALL the energy.

Birds are one of my favourite things to take photos of. I love all of the different species, colours, shapes and sizes, and all of the pre-historic beauty that they all have. Being able to get up super close with my lens really helps me to connect to our beautiful world and reminds me of just how short of a time we've all been here compared to some of the creatures around us. Whether they're flying, floating, or feeding, I'll always be sure to find a feathered flock to take some photos of.

These are some photos I took earlier this week of our national bird - The Canada Goose! Canadian geese stand about 3ft tall and can have a wingspan of up to SIX FEET! On average, they weigh between 6-12lbs, so you can say I was happy to keep my distance. This flock was about 70-100 strong and I sat with them for about 45 minutes, watching them graze in the field before heading off.
