Yo Momma Can't Dance Records & Recording Studio, located in the City Of The Arts is an idea birthed from the change of the music industry. We offer a "pay what you think we're worth" approach to recording, while working with the bands we record to release their material online for profit and exposure as a community. We want to be an active part in the community's music growth, as we believe in the

power of numbers. Our "pay what you think we're worth" approach means exactly that. Once a set amount of songs/time has been established we then proceed with recording. Once the session is finished we receive payment from you and then release the songs to you. On the record label side of things, we hope that you will choose to release your material through us. We're proud of the music we make here, and proud of the people who create it. We believe that by releasing your music through us you can help shape the local music community.
