I’m going to be purchasing a sublimation printer. I’ve been wanting to invest in one for a while now, but getting to a point where the business could purchase one took a bit. Happy to say, it’ll be on its way soon! 😃❤️

I’m wondering what items people would be interested in. Mugs? Coffee cups? Jewelry with photos or specific prints? Ornaments? Pillow cases? Photo blankets?

I’m open to all ideas. Just looking for some suggestions to get a feel for what items I should bring in first!

Currently all my products are done with DTF. I select the designs (or design my own) and order them through a company. The benefit with DTF is it can be used on MANY different materials. Where sublimation is a little more limited. However, it will result in fast turn arounds too.

I will be placing my final DTF print & blank clothing order of the year very soon. If you want in, please let me know by Friday night as the order will go in Saturday morning!

A few details to be aware of:
🔹Both my DTF supplier & clothing supplier can ship via ground services. I will have the items delivered to my moms street address to avoid any Canada Post issues.
🔸Clothing is in unisex sizing from XS to 4XL. They are Gildan brand.
🔹I have child sizing as well from 4T to youth XL
🔸Let me know which design and size you’d like. If you want something not seen, message me. I’ve been asked if I can do photos on shirts and I absolutely can!
🔹If needed by Christmas I will ONLY take orders for Pense area & Leader area. Anywhere that involves shipping, you can still purchase (a) for after Christmas or (b) with no guarantee you’ll have it before Christmas.

Morning Followers! ❤️

I apologize for my absence this past month. Between recovering from surgery, returning to work, starting my first part time class at SaskPoly and day to day life, the month just flew right by!

However, I’m back! Excited to get things moving again!

Happy New Year!!

I apologize for being absent, christmas and recovery took a little more out of me then I expected! As many of you are aware, I mentioned some new items coming to the business for 2024.

Here is the first one ❤️
I will be offering memorial pillows, for those of you who have either lost a special someone in your life or know someone else who has. These are ones I’ve made in the past for my uncle (I actually hand stitched this one with yarn so the shirt wouldn’t unravel & could be still worn) & for my kids (these were cut and sewn on a sewing machine).

It is a beautiful way to bring comfort to someone, especially little kids. To this day, my children will not sleep without their papa pillows ❤️

Happy New Years Eve to all my followers!

For years I wanted to start my own “legit” business, with insurance and everything. However, it truly terrified me! There was so much to wrap my head around & so many “what ifs”. Mainly, what if I fail? Honestly, if it wasn’t for my dads passing and truly understanding how short life can be, I may not have taken the risk. Thinking of him turned my mind set around to, what if I succeed?

If 2024 turns out to be anything like the last two months of 2023, it’ll be amazing. That though, is thanks to all of you! It doesn’t matter how you supported my business this year, either making a smart purchase or supporting in one of the free ways belong. Truly from the bottom of my heart, thank you! I appreciate you all ❤️❤️

Where are my cow lovers at?!

I’ve recently added two more design options! These aren’t my personal creations. Therefore you may see then being sold in other shops as well.

Regardless, I am absolutely in love with them both!

As a side note, would there be interest for the addition of long sleeves shirts like the grey one? It was an oops by my supplier in my last order. Figured I’d toss one together since it’s on hand and see if it’s an option some would like. They are the same unisex sizing and material as the tshirts, just in long sleeve form.

I’ve been wanting to share this for so long, as it’s an accomplishment I feel so incredibly proud of. However, I could never find the right time.. With Christmas around the corner and being more sentimental around this time of year, guess now is that perfect moment!

Many who’ve been a follower for a long time know this little business started back in 2022 as a hobby. Doing digital drawings to help me through my grief, as well as help others through their’s. Many drawings included people no longer physically with us.

This drawing, on the back of my dads headstone, is one of the first I ever did. It has my immediate family (parents, husband & kids), as well as my grandparents from both sides. Less then 50% of those in the drawing ever actually got to physically meet. But for a moment, in a drawing, we are all together ❤️

My dad was a true artist in his own way. A very talented man. It makes me proud to know that after all the forms of art I have of his around our home, I was finally able to give back to him ❤️

At my recent Tradeshow I had a request for mushroom earrings.

I won’t lie, my creativity was a little stumped at first. However, it didn’t take long to get it flowing. The result was these simply adorable mushroom earrings. I mean how cute are they?! 😍

One thing I love about small businesses is hearing what inspired a certain item, what inspired their business or how a product relates to them. If you love hearing those things too, keep reading! 😊

It’s always amazed me how deep farming roots can go and how they sometimes come back around.
All my grandparents grew up with the farming lifestyle. Fun fact, they all grew up in roughly a 50km radius of each other right on the SK & AB border.

My mom grew up on a dairy & grain farm.
My dad grew up on a grain farm. Both my parents always said how hard farm life was, physicially and financially. They saw their parents go through so many struggles. At times they both expressed wanting a different life for me. Although I wasn’t raised on a farm, I was brought up with farming “work ethic”. I remember dad had me up at 3am many weekends to build decks, haul dirt, etc. All so we’d be done before the sun got to hot. I envied my friends with real jobs, they got to “sleep in” compared to me! 🤣

My father-in-law grew up on a farm as well. Second generation on the land he still farms. Which means… I’m sure you can guess it, I came back around full circle and married a farmer!

Once those roots are planted, they’ll eventually lead you back. Even if it’s a few generations down the line. The farm is where my heart is happy & my soul is content. We grain farmed for a while till land rent became to high to turn a profit, ran a custom harvesting business until years in a row of drought hit and eventually settled on sticking to cattle.

Just recently we purchased our own farm! We went out on a limb and purchased before selling our current home. A little risky, but we crunched so many numbers. I was bound and determined for us to figure a way to make it work. I remember my husband saying, “I hope you always fight for our farm like you are right now. As there will likely be tough years where you may just want to give up.”

That’s the farm life though isn’t it? It’s what we signed up and so did many generations before us❤️

It’s crazy to think these little family drawings, that included loved ones no longer here, is what started the journey that lead to Kay Ella & Dee ❤️

They say everything happens for reason. Although it took losing my dad to start this journey, it brings me comfort knowing he has still been a part of it, just in a different way then if he were here.

Always one of my biggest inspirations, even if only now in spirit ❤️
