In episode 145 of The Johnny Rogers Show I caught up with teacher, author & musician, Jeff McMillan! Mr. McMillan was one of my grade school teachers and after talking at a reunion I knew I had to get him on the podcast. In this episode Jeff’s word was passion so we talk all about the importance of being passionate about the work you do. Mr. McMillan was always a big inspiration for me because of his continued dedication to his music and his band Gypsy Moon. On top of that he was one of the only teachers I had that actually tried to teach us skills we would need in the outside world and for that I am forever grateful. We also talk about his book “What if? Learning For the Twenty First Century” and why it’s important for educators to adjust to this new world of teaching.
