Shot on the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K (BMPCC4K), with a 28mm-85mm macro zoom lens - f3.5-4.5 Minolta AF A mount lens; adapted for EF mount with an adapter from Fotodiox.

Shot predominantly handheld, and on tripod.

Edited & colour graded in DaVinci Resolve Studio 18.

There are no boring shots and the cinematography remains dynamic even during the dialogue scenes...With its 60-minute runtime, it sticks to the story and moves despite its artsiness. Its excentric tongue-in-cheek humor leaves a mark...There is no shortage of gunshots, fire, and explosions, and some of the most interesting special effects happen under and above water. The small cast keeps the story small, for better or worse, and they’re all this script needs."

The first thing Mind Leech does right is not tip off its hand that there was no budget to go full horror. Instead, Filmmakers Cheeseman and Krysinsky rightly limit how much you see of their budgetary shortcomings and hit hard on producing high-quality results with what they did have.”

Here is the official trailer for Mind Leech! A feature film project which I shot as cinematographer this past February!

The project was shot with my very own set of ZEISS CP.3 XD lenses, and my 12mm/T2.9 Zero-D CINE PL mount lens from Laowa by Venus Optics. Shot on Blackmagic Design URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2, and Blackmagic Cinema Camera 4K (BMPCC4K) cameras.

Mind-boggling it’s already been two years already! Excited to be coming out with some new work soon, that was shot with my set of Zeiss CP.3 XD lenses.
