Our mission is to make artists' visions become realities. We were officially launched in the year 2002 as a sole proprietorship and federally incorporated in 2004. We are based in Montreal, Canada and work with a network of internationally-based artists and businesses.

We are thrilled to announce Envision Records is working with Sarah Pagé & Patrick Graham Percussionist on their new album project “Littoral States”. Listen to the ethereal first single “Tempest”:

The expansive, shifting composition weaves together several earthen modes, each invitingly organic and warm, yet somehow uncanny. Visual artist Tamar Kasparian, who worked closely with the duo in developing the themes and artwork for the album, describes the opening track as ‘listening to the sounds of a storm, unsure whether it’s coming or going’. Like the other pieces that make up Littoral States, ‘Tempest’ succeeds in recreating the inimitable feeling of listening to a broader world.

Recorded over a week in early 2023 at The Darling Foundry, a 144-year-old former metalworks facility in Montreal now transformed into a contemporary art complex, with a voluminous main room that still maintains its raw architecture of brick, concrete and steel.

Colin - "The aim was to fully inhabit every bit of this space. Using my usual technique of close miking my throat, breath, and the instrument, I was simultaneously amplified throughout the main hall and three other chambers of various sizes, capturing the reverb and character of each, while projecting live lighting and video, triggered in real time by my playing, resulting in both this album in its entirety (adding no overdubs or loops/FX) and the concert film as well.”

"This piece of music was what originally spurred our new album into being - a bass fiddle tune that sounded far too lonely for it to be played alone. I picked up the phone and proposed we make an album. It was Covid lockdown but we escaped the confines of our houses and went upstate to Dreamland Recording Studios for 5 days. With Shahzad Ismaily producing, we recorded this piece in one or two takes with very little discussion beforehand, allowing our shared intuitive musical language to speak for us. - Richard Reed Parry

Montreal's are announcing a series of shows to celebrate the 20th anniversary since the worldwide release of their sophomore album, No Cities Left!

Fronted by founding members Murray Lightburn and Natalia Yanchak, and backed by a rock band and accompanied by an ensemble of strings, brass, and winds, this unique performance of No Cities Left combines textures and layers of electronic and classical instruments, interspersed with leads from baritone saxophone, tenor saxophone, flute, cello and trumpet between soaring vocals and ripping guitar solos.

Catch The Dears this September in Toronto and at POP Montreal, and this December in London, UK!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone that came to show their support at the Bell Orchestre Sound House vernissage last Thursday, it was an incredible evening co-hosted with the Society for Arts and Technology (SAT). The Bell Orchestre Sound House is a multifaceted project that developed over many months of close collaboration, stretching our imaginations and moving into exciting new creative territories. It was beautiful to experience the process unfolding, and we are proud to see it finally open to a wider public.

Congratulations to .robert and of studio AATOAA, , and the entire team for creating such a captivating and enigmatic work of art, music, and magic!

Enter an imaginary house made of music and memory with Bell Orchestre Sound House: An interactive musical score!

Directed by and .robert of AATOAA, the participatory audiovisual installation summons the sounds of 's 2021 album, House Music.

The installation takes the form of an interactive abstract house where visitors can wander through a surreal space, play with the music, and interact with the environment.

As participants pick and place an array of sentimental domestic artefacts around the room, the Sound House transforms: a spatialized musical score is co-composed in real time invoking an affective, communal creative feeling. Melodies, moods and points of view are triggered: the weather changes, the seasons shift, time and place slide by outside its windows.

The Bell Orchestre Sound House will run at the 's new gallery space From June 7 to July 27.

Kid Koala presents "Creatures of the Late Afternoon" - ALBUM OUT NOW After releasing five albums on Ninja Tune, touring with the likes of Radiohead and the Beastie Boys, composing music for the 2010 Winter Olympics, you would assume that Eric San, aka Kid Koala, might be close to running out of ideas.
