It is with heavy hearts that we must announce... Montreal Families is closing after 25 years in business.

Like so many community publications, we have struggled the past number of years with advertising, our only source of revenue. Sadly, like many other local publishers, this means we can no longer stay in business.

We would like to thank the two generations of families who have welcomed us into their homes and the local businesses that supported us from the very beginning.

We’ve been blessed with having so many great employees and contributors over the years. Our team had a vested interest in the publication and our goal to help caregivers make parenting a little easier. We want to thank each and every one of them from the bottom of our heart.

So, alas, this is our final post!

It’s been an incredible journey for (as one advertiser dubbed us in the early years) “the little magazine that could.”

We wish you all the best on your parenting journey.
