Hey all,
Our game design lead Louis wrote up a text explaining what the designers on the team tried to achieve last week and what they ended up achieving! Let us know what you think! 😄

Hello! My name is Louis, lead game designer here at YouTouch! The following are the issues we decided to tackle between the 23rd and 27th of march. Take a look!
- Set-up the gameplay structure of the game.
We need to set-up the structure, identify all gameplays and features to bring out the abilities. The goal will be to identify all the parameters we will using to challenge the player. The work is in progress right now, but the main structure is established. The main difficulty is to think about all features and to highlight all abilities we will use in the game.
- Organize the tutorial
We’re currently thinking about the tutorial and how we are going to teach each feature in the game. We want to do an example of what will be the structure of a level with narration and gameplay. We need to link gameplay with narration, so the actual challenge is to order what is going to happen during the tutorial and what the player is going to learn. We need to avoid giving too many information to make the player understand the game progressively.
- List of Assets & Code in the same way.
We’re making lists of the assets and programming stuff we’ll need for the game, prioritizing the assets we’ll need for the tutorial. The goal is to share to the team what they have to do. The VFX list is partially done for attacks and the hero power one is in progress, as the sprite one. The main difficulty is to describe what is wanted with words when you’re are talking about VFX or Sprite.
