A year of giggles, hugs, laughter and pure joy. A year of first steps, first words, and new sights. A magical journey full of surprises and fun, our sweet little baby just turned one!

Our dearest Lexine,

To our little bu**um, our dearest Little Lexine, we can’t believe you’re already a year old. I know I’ve told you a thousand times that time has gone so fast. You should also know that your dad and I are litteraly beside ourselves wondering how this day is already here. It’s been 365 days since you’ve blessed our lives with so much love and joy. The kind of love that is so genuine and pure.🥺💖

It only seems yesterday when I first held you in my arms, my love and now a whole year has passed and you’ve grown so much already. I could still remember how tiny you are when you were born but now you’re already babbling, started walking, you sleep on your own and many more! I am in awe. You’ve taken us on quite a ride this year, little one. When we think about how we’ve watched your little personality come to life, how we’ve watched you grow and develop, we can’t help but shake our head and laugh. When you came, your dad and I had no clue what we were doing or getting ourselves into but we are glad that we have survived one rollercoaster year rasing a little human being.😀

Since we had you, our world has changed and I never knew how much I could love another person until I met you. There aren’t enough words in the world to explain this love we have for you. We will never forget the day you were born, my love.

As your mom, I can say that this was the hardest year of my life, but I can also say that this year was crucible. I think I’ve grown and changed more in the past year than I have in the rest of my life combined. You made me a mom, and by doing so, you made me into a brand-new person, a woman who has never existed before.🥺❤️ We’ve done so much in this first year together, my love. We spent hundreds of hours breastfeeding, hundreds of hours playing and laughing and learning new things. We survived long nights, short naps, milk-supply drops, illnesses, teething, sleep regression, leaps and many more!

Your dad and I are so blessed to have such beautiful, sweet baby like you. Thank you for all the incredible joy you have brought to our lives, Lexine. You will forever be one of our greatest adventures. Life maybe uncertain but one thing is for sure — our love for you is unchanging and unconditional. As you grow, we will make sure you understand that this love we have for you is just a shadow of the love the Lord has for you.❤️

You are the light of our lives, our happiness and our inspiration. You are an absolute treasure.
