Ram ashray is one the oldest outlets for authentic South Indian delicacies in Matunga. Highly recommend the Mysore masala dosa, Neer dosa, Medu wada, pineapple sheers and ofcourse the Filter coffee!!! It's in my most favourite list of restaurant. The service is fast and food is soulful. Best place. Best food. Reasonable. Whenever in Mumbai or matunga this place should definitely on your list also it is just outside the matunga station.

When in Mumbai and haven't been here then it would definitely be a regret for you….
One of the famous outlets in Mumbai for decades. I grew up eating their delicacies specially Samosa Chhole, Sev Batata puri and kulfi falooda. Its been one of my favourite since childhood as lot of old pleasant memories are connected with this place specially with my grandparents. Nostalgic. Quality is maintained.
