East Coast TACFIT

East Coast TACFIT TACFIT classes in the Annapolis Valley of N.S. taught by Shawn and Alison Ross , the only Certified EMTS, police, firefighters. military etc.

East Coast TACFIT classes are taught by Shawn and Alison Ross of Kettlebell Krushers Fitness who are the only Certified TACFIT Field Instructors in Eastern Canada! TACFIT will build stamina, strength, speed, agility & co-ordination with a emphasis on breath, recovery & pre-habilitation. TACFIT workouts are structured to allow for progression to higher skill levels when ready and regression when ne

cessary. TACFIT workouts are four levels (Delta, Gamma, Beta & Alpha) each with increasingly more sophisticated movements. These levels allow for the beginner to the seasoned athlete to work side by side in the same class at their own skill level. Each class will be alternating between 6 different TACFIT protocols, for example AMRAP (as many rounds as possible) and EMOTM (every minute on the minute) and more. Every class begins with a 10 minute warm-up and end with 10 minutes of compensatory exercises. Participants will be able to track their training by recording their results using TACFIT's biofeedback and recovery techniques. Classes use a variety of equipment ranging from bodyweight, med-balls, clubbells, kettlebells, rings, sandbags, parallettes and more. TACFIT is an official training program for:

US Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC)
US Customs and Border Protection Advanced Training Center
US Marshals Service Training Academy
US Army 3/160 Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR)
Classes will be limited to 6 participants per class. TACFIT is extremely beneficial for everyone, & those in high stress professions i.e. All equipment is provided. No Wonder TACFIT was voted by Men's Health Magazine as "The World's Smartest Workout"

Held at Fitness Experience, 65 School St. Middleton, these classes will be limited to 6 participants per class. Check out

So What Does It Actually Stand For?
Coach Sonnon Breaks Down the TACFIT Chevron!

The TACFIT symbol is made up of a Florian cross bearing two crossed Clubbells set on bat wings.

The Florian Cross represents Saint Florian, patron saint of firefighters. Firefighters have been heavily involved in the design and ongoing evolution of TACFIT, and we honor their willingness to run toward danger to rescue innocent lives. The Florian Cross represents that shield of protection from harm. A compelling moral imperative lies at the heart of all service, and it isn’t restricted to firefighters. When circumstances arise, despite imminent danger, we drive forward so that others may remain free from harm’s way.

The bat’s wings attach to and support the Florian Cross in honor of the law enforcement, military and security personnel who have had such a strong influence on the development of TACFIT. The wings represent the stealth, swiftness, agility, precision and efficiency of Colonel John Boyd’s OODA Loop. When called to action, we fly in with lethal accuracy and rapid adaptability so that we cycle faster, reorient quicker, and act more decisively than our would-be aggressors.

Within the Florian Cross lies a pair of crossed Clubbells. The club is both the oldest weapon known to mankind, and the first strength and conditioning tool. The crossed Clubbells signify our ongoing training and preparedness; even in times of peace, safe in the cradle of hearth and home, we make ourselves ready for the inevitable return of conflict. We remain fit with a purpose: No one wants to fight, but someone must remember how.

These three symbols - the Florian Cross, the Bat’s Wings and the Crossed Clubs - represent the heart, head and hands (respectively) of our TACFIT mission. Together they signify our commitment to prepare ourselves, and to better ourselves for the sake of those we protect. Legion.

I wish you good training. Be safe out there, and get home fast.

Very Respectfully,
Scott B. Sonnon

"Strength Doesn’t Come from Our Appearance, But It Is Derived From Our Conviction"

(Read on as Coach Sonnon Analyzes 3 Types of People: Immovable, Movable. and those who do the Moving!)

Hello Friends,

As a professional, I choose to never make claims I haven’t personally achieved. I don’t prefer to speak from theories or ideas, but rather experience and discoveries. Only then do I share what I’ve uncovered through my personal journey, with others. Living a lean, simple, strong, happy life, well… I would dare to guess most people who were once obese, overfat, or out of shape, would want to learn how (especially if I can get them that information through my free books and videos http://www.rmaxinternational.com/free-products/ )

Most of us, when we are obese, overfat, or just out of shape, feel ashamed and hopeless (primarily when people, especially supposed experts, call us “stupid and retarded” for our appearance). We fear that we can never regain lower levels of bodyfat and begin to give up hope that we ever can. Judgmental “authorities” who smear each other with deprecating cattiness cause us to shy away from trusting any aid from them. We think, “If they so harshly judge each other, and they’re fitness PROS, imagine what they say about me!!!” People only hurt their prospective clients when they talk badly about each other in the field.

For those of us who seek to follow our own path, we may be hated for being different and living by our own standards, rather than mainstream expectations, but deep down they wish they had your courage to do the same. When you encounter this kind of negativity use it as a personal practice: if others express hate toward you, it’s because you’re following your own values, and secretly… the haters hope that you succeed, so that they can grow the courage to do the same.

If you think having someone express hate toward you is difficult, imagine having to live their life. That’s much worse. You don’t have to befriend them if you don’t wish. Just living your life as your healthy, vibrant self, unphased by others’ negative judgments is a joy they silently, desperately crave. And by living so, you even give them the hope that they can one day be the same.

Strength doesn’t come from our appearance, but from our conviction; not from our muscle, but from our heart to help others lead long, happy lives. As Ben Franklin said, “There are three types of people in the world: the immovable [who believe only they are right], the moveable [who always submit to the judgment of others], and the ones who do the moving.” Move your own way, ignore those who tell you that you appear silly as both the immovable and movable do. Be the one who does the moving, and we all will benefit from your joyful example.

Very Respectfully,
Scott Sonnon

One who makes enemy of his pain will become partner to injury. Pain isn't weakness leaving the body; pain shows you where strength has left it. Weakness hides under a canopy of your compensations, disguised as strengths. If it remains hidden, out of fear, ego or negligence, like a wound, it will fester and spread, until it forces you to rehabilitate its rupture.
