Each one of our children are different, they have different needs and also learn differently. But in a classroom of children, there is no way a teacher can cater to each student.
Whereas in homeschooling, you can create a personalized curriculum for each of your kids. You can cater to their passions and the things that they enjoy learning about and incorporate it in your curriculum.
Take me for example… My biggest passion growing up was dancing and musical theater. For science I learned about the human body and the different muscles and how our bodies move. I did studies on musicals and different choreographers. My mom tailored what I was learning, which made it a more enjoyable experience for me and I wanted to do the work.
Now I am learning about my kids and their interests and desires and figuring out how to incorporate that into our schooling days. So it’s not about re-creating school at home because it’s not the same thing.
I also want to say not everybody is called to homeschool and that’s okay. But it also might just be an educational piece that you don’t feel qualified to teach your kids. the great thing is there are so many resources and tools out there to help you along if you choose to homeschool.

Before I started my online business I had this thought. I went to the worst case scenario… If I never made a sale would it be worth it? But I knew I would have invested in an incredible product that has changed our families health and now drink the best water ever, I would have grown in skills and personal growth and connected with some of the most incredible people. To me just that was worth starting my business. I get to be my own boss and set my hours and work when I want.

I wanted to share a little perspective on hitting the big 3-0 that might not be the most popular opinion, but it’s my truth: at 30, my life is just beginning.
Contrary to the societal narrative that suggests our twenties are the prime time for exploration and self-discovery, I’ve found that stepping into my thirties has brought a newfound sense of clarity and purpose. It’s like I’ve finally accumulated enough life experiences to truly understand who I am and what I want.
Sure, the twenties were a rollercoaster of trial and error, but it’s the lessons learned during that time that set the stage for the next chapter. At 30, I’m more confident, self-assured, and equipped with a better understanding of my goals and aspirations.
The pressure to have it all figured out by a certain age is slowly dissipating, and I’m embracing the fact that life is a journey, not a race. It’s okay if I haven’t achieved all my dreams or hit certain milestones by 30 because, honestly, the adventure is in the journey itself.
