Today, Outlier is releasing their E.P. Conversations With Myself Part 1 which I had the chance to fully produce (recording, reamping, mixing and mastering). This E.P. is a mix of emotions passing through grief, loss, anger, emptiness and healing. I connected so much with the tracks, lyrics and riffs. It was a real pleasure to work on this piece of art which is now fully available for you to consume.

Indeed, we are now ready to start recording our next album, and in a few weeks, we will go back to our dear friend Nova Sound Recordings - Antony Lepage.

Little upgrade to the studo! Since I transformed this room in a tracking room, I always found it still needed some work in term of sound damping. With the addition of those 4 GIK Acoustics 244 bass trap, the room resonnance is totally gone!

The idea behind this room is to have a totally resonnance free environnement which is optimal for vocals, acoustic guitars, guitar cabs et many other instruments and percussions. This additions will sure help into achieving cleaner recordings 👌

Acquired this beautiful box of noise this morning. This little 2x12 is full of tonez. Tight and full of body. Makes for a different vibe than my Mesa 4x12 OS. Really happy about this purchase. Looking forward to use it on a futur record 👌

Drum setup for .qc album engineered by and .wav. Had the chance to try the new AKG C414 XLII, smoothest overhead I have ever had the chance to mic on a drum set. Definitely worth every penny 👌 7 songs out of 9 to go.

New tracking room/booth is now fully operational 😬 Equiped with a TV for lyrics display or live video dubbling/foley, 8 DIY acoustic pannels, 2 GIK Acoustics bass trap/diffusers(more to come), 4 in 4 out snake connected with a talkback and speaker cable passthrough for cab reamping.

Lot of work was put in this room. Building pannels, soldering the snake to the patch bay, testing all connections and many hours of planning. Being able to test it today and have absolutely everything working as intended is really fulfilling. This room passed the test this morning during the recording session with who seemed to really enjoy this new room. 😎

Recently, I decided to convert this bedroom into a tracking room for vocals and guitar cabinets. These new pannels with Guilford of Maine fabrics are stunning. 7 more to go 👌

Equiped with speaker cable to control amp from the control room, with a snake box of 4 mic inputs and 2 stereo aux connected to the control room patchbay and TV connected to the studio PC for lyrics display or live video dubbling, this tracking room will come in handy 😎

In this rough pandemic period we are slowly starting to recover from, lots of bands have been left without revenue. Hence, my new Recording Grand Program might be the perfect opportunity for your band to record one song entirely for free and get back on track!

I am launching the RGP in order to allow selected bands to benefit from a quality production while getting quality records to put on my website.
