After studying Audio Engineering at Pacific Audio Visual Institute in Vancouver, he became an artist with True Spin Records and a resident DJ at Habitat Living Sound in Calgary, leading successful events like Secret Society. Now based in London, Ontario, Conor drives the local music scene with residencies at Heads & Tails and his latest project, compás, which spotlights emerging talent. With roles in event management, production, and festival direction, Conor continues to foster community and innovation in electronic music.

“People have been talking about equality in the workplace for years, but it’s only recently we’ve started talking about it in electronic music. I bought Last Night a DJ Saved My Life in 2000 and in the book, it said only 2% of DJs were women. Now it’s 16%, which is some progress.” – 🫶

Sydney Blu is a leader with , working tirelessly to bring visibility and opportunity to women in the electronic music scene. It’s this kind of initiative that continues to inspire and pave the way for more progress in the industry. 👏
