AUDITION MONOLOGUE WORKSHOP
Saturday, January 27th, 2024 - 11:30 AM to 4:00 PM
This workshop is hosted by IFilmGroup and focuses on audition monologues and how actors can have a strong successful audition by focusing on their performance of the audition piece by making bold choices and developing a strong character for the audition monologue. Those who attend this workshop will pick a monologue, spend time working on developing the character within the monologue, and present the monologue at the end of the workshop in a simulated audition experience.

“STANDING OUT IN THE CASTING PROCESS ACTING WORKSHOP”

This workshop is a great opportunity to come and learn strategies and tips for successfully booking more roles. It is a great way to network with fellow actors, and industry professionals as well as have some fun.
The workshop is geared for actors, with a focused look at the steps and stages of the acting casting call, and audition process. From the original submission process to the researching and preparing for the audition. To the final steps of the audition waiting and the actor's audition itself. This workshop is a hands-on experience with tips and tricks to help actors navigate the process. Then once the Audition is over this workshop looks at letting go after the process is over. Regardless of success or failure.

AUDITION CODE: Acting Training Exercise 23

Looking for a group of male and female actors who are interested in being involved in a program where they receive training and mentorship in acting in exchange for being part of some filming/workshop environments. Participants will receive training and mentorship in exchange for being part of one or more filming days.

Looking to divide into two groups:
17 yrs to 24 yrs
25yrs to 80 yrs old

Once a group of at least 5 individuals have followed through on the process and been selected we will look at dates for the program.
Only those that meet all the requirements and are selected will be approved for the program. Participants may be asked for support material of examples of acting or submission of short monologues.
Training will include on topics such as acting, auditions, movement, monologues, character building, and what directors and casting directors are looking for.

Please send a headshot (or head & shoulder selfie) and an acting resume (if applicable) or any related acting experience.
It is important that all applicants follow all instructions to be able to be considered. Incomplete submissions or not following instructions may lead to not being selected.

· iFilmGroup and iFilmGroup Casting is looking for a female actor between 18 to 30. For Monday, Sept 25th in London, Ontario to play the role of a dark spirit associated with the phenomena of Sleep Paralysis.

Great day of acting and production on Saturday. A lot of great content was created. A wonderful dramatic scene was captured. Some great dramatic footage related to Drama Therapy, auditioning, and what it’s like to be an extra on a film set. Thanks to all those involved on a great day.
