We are so excited to share these two Playbook articles with you today. First, we have “Toxic Men, Toxic Earth, Toxic Futures” written by Sophia Sanniti, a scholar in ecological economics, critical ecofeminism, and household sustainability. In this piece, Sophia pulls back the curtain on toxic masculinity as a systemic barrier to environmentalism and shares how we can work to dismantle the capitalist patriarchy to strengthen responses to climate change.

Second, we have an article by David McConnachie on the powerful cultural canvas of sports. In this article, David discusses how the cultural and market influence of sports can be leveraged to promote healthy, sustainable communities where we live and play.
