The CF-18 Demonstration Team is showing off the Demo Hornet’s centennial paint scheme in the Welsh countryside.
On July 17, the aircraft flew through the famous Mach Loop, a series of valleys in the U.K. known as low-level training areas for aircraft.

Coulson Aviation’s Hawaii Mars is preparing for its final flight later this summer!
On July 9, the iconic aircraft completed a taxi around Sproat Lake in Port Alberni, B.C.
The historic aircraft, which served in B.C. firefighting missions for decades after its military retirement in the late 1950s, will be preserved at the British Columbia Aviation Museum, where it will be the centrepiece of a wildfire aviation exhibit, allowing visitors to get up close and personal with the aircraft.

A memorable day for many as the WWII-era Lancaster Bomber returns home.
On June 14, 2024, crowds gathered to watch the iconic Lancaster Bomber, “Vera,” return to Goderich Regional Airport for the first time since it left in 1977. The historic aircraft first arrived at the airport on June 14, 1964, and was on display there for a decade, until it was bought and restored by the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Hamilton, Ont.
The Lancaster bomber is one of only two airworthy Lancasters in the world and will be making appearances in airshows this year in celebration of the RCAF’s 100th anniversary.

On the evening of Monday, June 3, additional CT-155 Hawks were transported from Collingwood Airport to 16 Wing Borden, Ont.
These jets are ready for their new life as maintenance trainers for the Canadian Forces School of Aerospace Technology and Engineering (CFSATE).

The KF Centre for Excellence in Kelowna, B.C., completed a successful engine run test on its Hawker Tempest MKII on Feb. 8, marking an exciting milestone!
“All of the systems that we had intended to test during that run performed flawlessly,” said D’Arcy Barker, chief engineer of heritage maintenance at the KF Centre. “It was really successful, and we were really, really happy.”
The aircraft is not ready for flight yet; the KF Centre is working towards the next milestone of completing the flight controls and landing gear.
