Stop trying to get it all right and be perfect. Instead allow yourself to show up to life, to social media as the perfectly imperfect human being that you are.

Many amazing coaches and entrepreneurs never really create a consistent and impactful social media presence because they try to hard to be perfect and never make a mistake.

They want to say the right words, create the perfect content and look perfect throughout.

That mindset will never get you anywhere.

What you need is to allow yourself to f*ck up!

You are going to learn from your mistakes and grow but it will never happen if you don't allow yourself to show up imperfectly.

Not only that but you will connect better with the human beings who see your content because they will be able to relate and see that you are just like them.

A perfectly imperfect human being doing their best.

Video is an amazing way to connect with the hearts of
the human beings who follow you on social media.

When you hit that record button you want to make sure that
you are confident and energized to share your message.

There is a process that you can take just before you hit record
that will help you make an impact with the words you speak and
the energy you bring to the video.

1 - FIGURE OUT YOUR TOPIC & MAIN POINTS YOU WANT TO HIT
Write down on a notepad or large board what topic you want to discuss. Then write down2-3 main points that you want to hit on while you talk. This way you have clarity and confidence on where you are heading. Then you can allow your heart to speak.

2 - SHIFT YOUR ENERGY & MIND BEFORE YOU HIT RECORD
You don’t want to show up on your video with low energy or in a negative state. Therefore you can first take few deep breathes to centre yourself. Then you can move your body. Whether its dancing or a quick exercise you want to move that negative and low energy out of your body. Finally I always focus on the person who needs to hear this message and come to a place of service with your video.

3- GIVE YOURSELF THE GRACE TO MAKE A MISTAKE

Be kind to yourself. Don’t try to make the video perfect. Look perfect or say the perfect words. If you don't hit a specific topic or fumble your words try not to be hard on yourself. Give yourself the grace to make a mistake or multiple mistakes. As you create more videos you will get better at it and even then you will make a mistake because you’re human.

THERE HAS BEEN SOMETHING GOING AROUND THAT HAS PLAGUED MANY BUSINESS PROFESSIONALS....

It spread very quickly through the world in early 2020.

It made its way into the homes of so many.

It's a condition called ZOOMAVIDIS... the fear of being on camera and speaking authentically during Zoom meetings/calls.

These business professionals have never seen anything like this before.

Don't get me wrong the algorithms will throw you some stuff your way that you don't want to see but for the majority of time it's your interaction that decides your experience.

Seriously! If you have a chance to impact the life of 1 person than its all worth it.

Social media is an ever changing world and therefore you will have to test out and try different methods of communicating your messages.

Sometimes you might have to change the time you are posting, sometimes it might be the style of post that you are creating, needs to change or the hashtags on Instagram.

It's all about trial and error until you hit the sweet spot for your social media pages. So be open to trying new things so that you can create the impact on social media that you're looking for.

Very often coaches create content in a panic. As a result in the long run that coach becomes drained and unmotivated to create content that is valuable and creates an impact.

Here are the 2 best ways to create content so that you are not in a panic,
causing unnecessary stress and create a bigger impact with your content.

# 1 PLAN YOUR CONTENT

Set aside a few hours each week to create content and schedule
the posts out in advance.

#2 CREATE WHEN YOU'RE PASSIONATE

Throughout your day(s), when you feel inspired, passionate and lite up
about something in relation to your coaching business, create, create,
create! Turn on the camera, get the notepad out, just allow that passion
to come out authentically.

Creating when you are passionate allows you to have content ready to
edit and refine when you sit down to plan out your content.

It also allows you to create content that is in alignment with your highest
truth and the impact will be felt by those who come across that piece
of content.

So make sure that you plan and allow your passion to shine through in your content.

I WAS THAT CLOSE FROM QUITTING!! NO JOKE....

I know how challenging it can be to continue putting time, energy and effort into your business, your relationships or your personal growth and FEEL LIKE you haven't had any real results come from it.

In the second half of 2020 I made a decision to pivot my social media business to focus on coaching Coaches on how to show up authentically and consistently on social media.

I hired an amazing business coach Shelagh Cummins to help me organize my actions and help guide me in this process.

We began working on what turned into my 90 day social media program SOULCIAL IMPACT. As she helped me develop the program and take the steps to find new clients, I felt like a failure.

I felt like I was putting all of this effort and time in and I wasn't getting the results I wanted.

As the months passed by I truly thought that I was doing this all for nothing.

Then during one of our coaching calls she helped me realize how much I'd actually accomplished and how I was on the brink of something amazing.

I learned that in business there are so many moving parts that need to be addressed to make it "successful". One of those main areas is developing your product/service and getting crystal clear on who you serve.

So never underestimate the progress that you're actually making but your mind is not allowing you to see right now.

Keep on track, keep going because I can guarantee you that if you're heart is in it, you got this s**t!

I'M DECLARING 2021 TO BE A YEAR OF IMPACT, ABUNDANCE & PROSPERITY UNLIKE ANY OTHER YEAR YET!!!

For those who don't know me, my name is Kevin Benevides.

For almost 4 years I was freelancing online as a social media manager, content creator and graphic designer.

In that span of time I was able to help build some of the most biggest, inspirational social media pages. I've learned how to use social media as a platform to help inspire, uplift and connect heart to heart with human beings.

I had no experience with social media when I started, just a passion to inspire and help transform peoples lives.

Over the past year I've taken that experience and passion that I've gained to help coach and support the healers, lightworkers and coaches of the world to step onto social media in the most authentic and powerful way possible.
