As always, Classical Kids delivers an engaging story that helps familiarize kids with a composer's work. So fun to see a new recording after all these years! One thing I love about a physical CD and really appreciate is the extra bits of learning included in the CD Liner notes. I also think it is fantastic that this recording utilized a youth orchestra ~ which shows kids that they can achieve great things even while they are young. The story was great, and I even learned a few things about Gershwin that I didn't know.

It's time to wrap up our 2020-2021 Season! It was our most challenging season yet with no live performances. Throughout it all, we have been committed to our mission: to provide children with an exciting and educational point of entry into the world of classical music. We are grateful for what we have accomplished in a virtual world:

This year, we released the world premiere audio recording of Gershwin’s Magic Key with the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestras, which also won A Mom's Choice Award! We also hosted virtual events, made our recordings and educational materials available for pay-what-you can donations, and more!

Help us keep our mission alive as we head into our next season, which will be about recovery AND rejuvenation! Please consider giving!

FIRST PERFORMANCE IN OVER A YEAR! Classical Kids LIVE! kicks off it's 21-22 season at Ravinia on July 11th at 2pm.

After a challenging year of wishing and waiting, the acclaimed Classical Kids LIVE! concert series is finally getting ready for what is gearing up to be a busy season! Catch Beethoven Lives Upstairs at Ravinia's outdoor Pavilion on Sunday July 11th at 2pm and Vivaldi’s Ring of Mystery in Northbrook’s Village Green Park the afternoon of August 29th.

We're also busy rescheduling cancelled performances from 2020 and adding new collaborations with orchestras coast to coast, from Santa Rosa to Detroit to North Carolina and everything in between. We’ll even be traveling to Asia to perform with the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra and The Hong Kong Philharmonic!
