What were the seeds that were planted for this new business for me in coaching? 🌱

It actually runs deeper than 2 years ago when a woman reached out asking me to be her business coach.

🌱 It started being raised on a farm, by entrepreneurs. They didn’t call themselves that though, they were dairy farmers πŸ₯°β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹
🌱 It was a family β€œwill” that determined my future
🌱 It was becoming a business owner myself 5 years ago in a male dominated industry I love, agriculture + food
🌱 It was dealing through challenges that made me realize the setbacks we still continue to face as business owners, who happen to be women (hello infertility πŸ‘‹πŸΌ)
🌱 It was a Board meeting that highlighted women and wealth and the fact that men and women give significantly different
🌱 It was seeing how empowered a group of incredibly ambitious women can be when they’re brought together for a business mastermind, and what we can achieve when we empower, support, encourage and hold each accountable to our dreams and goals.. it’s pure magic πŸ”₯

All of these seeds planted all of these years in the making led to this moment.

Helping fellow women in business transform their businesses and careers; strategize the vision, to do’s, plan and next steps; working with them through the what if’s and limited beliefs to take the risks on themselves; teaching them how to grow/scale a business and create ways to create wealth for themselves; and most importantly, be as confident in themselves and their services as I am about what I’ve created in mine.

I’m taking on 1:1 clients and will have a group coaching program too 😍 DM me if you’re interested in either, space is limited in both. I can’t wait to work with more women in this journey. It fuels my fire πŸ”₯ serving other women (like you!), helping in your journey to unlock and unleash πŸš€β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹

β€œSurround yourself with people who make extreme goals feel normal.” β™₯️
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
This is exactly who this group of women are πŸš€ (we missed you and ) 🫢🏼
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
Last April, we brought together a group of women who all had ambitions as business owners - big goals, lofty ideas and plans to execute. And it has been hands down one of the best things πŸ”₯
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
All business owners, idea executors and goal chasers - find yourself people who you can be real with when it comes to business. Where you can be brutally honest, raw, tell it like it is, who you can set BHAG with, who are there to support you, hold you accountable and most importantly, who celebrate in your successes (and failures!) because they’re part of the journey with you.
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
I’d love to bring more women together like this for more in-person masterminds. DM me if this sparks interest for you and you’re needing that communityβš‘οΈβ¬‡οΈ

THIS πŸ”₯

πŸ”– Save/bookmark this one so you can come back to it when you need the reminder.

This is the sweet spot.
β€œFlow state” as it’s called.
Zone of genius.
Where true wealth is found.
Or, better known as freedom πŸ™πŸ»β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹

When you’re operating from a β€œleave it better than I found it” growth mindset, of wanting to serve others, to make impact, that helps to transforms others and help them in their journey, that leaves them feeling better,

When you’re doing something you’re naturally good at, that pulls out your unique ability, that feels like it was β€œthe thing” you were called to do that allows you to live out your truest potential, and is recognized by yourself and others as the thing that is your niche,

When you’re creating wealth and making money with ease and are paid to do what you’re good at and it doesn’t feel like a hard way to make money,

THIS is what allows you to build and design a life and business that you’re proud of and love to do and live each day β™₯️ I always judge my decisions and actions in building what I am, thinking of Blake, Stella and Kenton thinking… would they be proud of their mom and would they want to follow in my footsteps one day as a business owner.

That’s what it’s all about πŸš€

This is what is at the heart of my business,
everything I do, teach, coach and want for others ✨

I want this for you. I want this for more women.

We’ll be exponentially more empowered, more free, more in the drivers seat of our power, and make even MORE impact

I know you want this too πŸ«ΆπŸΌβ€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹

Work-life integration. It’s something I love talking about as a business owner, as a woman and as a working mom πŸ”₯ It’s what is at the core of my business coaching.
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
See how I also didn’t call it β€˜balance’ because there isn’t ever really β€˜balance’ as a working parent who is fuelled by ambition. It’s more β€˜give and take.’
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
One of the biggest practices I help my coaching clients with is work-life integration. When you have the power to choose to build a life and business/career that helps you live, and doesn’t hinder how you live, THAT’s when you’ve been empowered… truly ✨
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
Creating a business, only to serve your clients and not have time to work on YOUR business, while feeling handcuffed in your personal life, is NOT how I wanted to do business.
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
I only wish I could have learned that lesson sooner.
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
It makes me think of last week, because it was a doozy 🫣 I may look OK in the photo but oh boy was I tired.
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
It was hands down our busiest week of 2024 (so far) - and we purposefully did it to ourselves without realizing it at the time when we were planning our schedules πŸ™ƒ ✌🏼 Board AGMs for me, 3 golf charity golf tourneys and 1 OAC 150th anniversary event - all last week (and work + kids!). We were only able to do what we did because of our village of incredible caretakers who helped us with the kids πŸ™πŸ»
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
Was it a lot? Yes.
Was it probably too much? Um, yep.
Was it a week of surviving instead of thriving? Surviving hands down.
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
But did we make it? Yes and does it make this week feel a little easier in some weird way? πŸ‘πŸ»

What were the lessons to be learned?
➑️ There is power in knowing you choose this type of freedom for yourself - in this case, an entire week of supporting causes that matter to me/us as a couple
➑️ As long as the babes were OK, that’s what matters most. Settling β€œmom guilt” is something we continually have to work on
➑️ There are some weeks you will need to simply survive, not thrive and that is OK
➑️ Integration of work and life means some weeks you’ll go all in on work/causes, other weeks you’ll go all in on life 🫢🏼

Have you had weeks like this?! 🫠

I’m giving myself an early birthday present todayπŸ₯‚
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
I’m doing something I’m finally sharing publicly after doing it for 2 years now. It’s something I didn’t think of as an offering when I started my business 5 years ago.
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
But some things fall in your lap when you least expect them to and are the most beautiful gift possible β™₯️
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
I’m doing something that scares the hell out of me in the best way possible... I’m launching my coaching business for women in business and entrepreneursπŸ”₯
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
I’m expanding my business offerings to serve what people have told me they need for their businesses, doing something that truly lights my soul on fire, helping to make impact in serving others ambitions πŸ”₯
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
Helping YOU
βœ… launch, grow and scale your business,
βœ… build your wealth (and not just in the $ sense), and βœ… ultimately create a life designed by you FOR you.
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
I want to see more women entrepreneurs, more women in C-Suite roles, more women in business taking risks, sharing their expertise, building wealth and empowering themselves and one another to build the tables and be in the rooms we need too to be in to make the changes we want to see. as I call it 🫢🏼
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
When I started getting inquiries from women in business a few years back, asking if I could be their business coach, I was humbled. That fellow business owners would place their trust in me to bring out their best, to work through challenges together from mindset through to strategy to offers and marketing, to give them the tools and systems I use, to share in the accountability to unlock their true potential to create a business and a life they’re proud of to make the impact they too are looking for.

I absolutely love the clients I’m working with and have worked with. To see and be a part of their growth, their transformations and to see the goals they’ve achieved has been so fulfilling 🌱

It’s why I’m so excited for this next chapter and helping more of you πŸ”₯ Visit www.christinacrowleyarklie.com or DM me, I want to chat with you πŸ™‹πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

So much more to share and come, thanks for being on this journey with me 🫢🏼

I’ve heard it often said that women are our own worst enemies. That for all the amazing qualities, and things we offer and do for the world, that WE are what hold us back by how we treat each other.
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
That we’re quick to judge other women for their decisions, resent other women for their success and ambitions and after facing all the same barriers, the biggest thing we do is hold each other back with this behaviour.
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
And the crazy part is… I believe it.
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
A woman who I greatly admire and who I’d call a mentor, commented to me that she’s thankful to see the collaborative nature of women now, over the cut-throat competition that took place when she was up and coming in her career.
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
I’m so damn thankful to be living at a time and to be surrounded by women who genuinely believe in collaboration over competition 🫢🏼
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
Last night, celebrating the milestone of two incredible women and friends .m.teeter (celebrating something beyond weddings and babies and celebrating career success!) was pure magic ✨The way the women in the room were eager to meet each other, hear about each other’s businsses and feed off of each other’s energy - THAT is the secret sauce I want to cultivate more of πŸ”₯
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
It’s the horse racing analogy that I refer to often - we all need that horse beside us pushing us to be our better selves, to reach our truest potential. Without these other women who help us navigate the unknowns, to talk about the bad business days, to learn how to use Kajabi, who help fix gum in your hair and tags on the back of your shirt (thanks & !) - without these women, where would we be?!
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
We only ALL get better (and thus our kids, families, communities, society, everything!) when we all want to level up ourselves and help other women do the same to reach the top. THAT’s the .

I’m filled with gratitude today to be a part of - to see what this committee did led by the vision of two incredible ladies, and how a community of young leaders came together to support a cause that benefits mental health in our community - this IS what we’re meant to do as humans when we rally around a collective cause that benefits all of us 🫢🏼

I’ve still over here trying to wrap my brain around the most surreal and eye-opening I got to live through last week. The incredible people, lessons and takeaways from last week’s Unstoppable Mastermind hosted by and his amazing team. It’s a high I don’t want to come down from tbh.

The line-up of speakers and more were amazing πŸ”₯

What were my 5️⃣ breakthroughs?

1️⃣ We need high standards (and boundaries). It’s the expectations we set for ourselves, the boundaries we uphold and following through to ourselves first and foremost that allows us to reach our full potential.

2️⃣ Marketing is idea warfare. We all have ideas, it’s about *doing* the ideas and not necessarily being different, but being *better* at them that = $$$.

3️⃣ β€˜Luck’ is manufactured. Oh man, if I could spend a day with , I think our energy alone would solve alllll the world’s problems. When everyone talks about β€˜luck’ for successful people, it’s because they’ve been disciplined and focused on the right priorities and have been preparing to capitalize on the right opportunities for years in the making.

4️⃣ Say no to everything. This is probably one of my greatest takeaways from the legend himself . In order to truly level up, you have to say NO to everything else. It’s made me realize since I’ve returned home how much this is THE problem I have in my business. Working on this stat! We have to be the gardner not the tender of our gardens 🌱

5️⃣ Your network is your net worth. The hands down, the greatest takeaway. I’ve always wholeheartedly believed this, but I truly LIVED it last week. NOT being one of the smartest people in the room and taking all that knowledge, expertise and energy IS in fact how you level up. Surround yourself with kindred spirits who want to go fast and far together πŸ”₯

Here’s to now taking action on the to do’s πŸš€

Last week, I got the chance to share a talk about β€˜trailblazing a unique career path and family lifestyle’ in a room full of women entrepreneurs who are all blazing their own trails.
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
I shared a story I’ve never shared publicly, but only with a few others. If I were to title it, it would be β€œWhere there’s a will, there’s a way.” ❀️
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
To share it so openly and vulnerably with a group of woman who would understand some of the same feelings and experiences, was an empowering experience.
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
I shared 5 lessons I’ve learned along my journey that speak to accepting β€œfailure,” making peace with it, healing from it and doing something with it πŸ”₯
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
1️⃣ Not even your gender will stop what your mind will for you (a victim mindset is indeed what stops us from our greatness)
2️⃣ Comfort is not where courage is born (life begins outside our comfort zone, easier said than done)
3️⃣ Learn to do by doing (my 4-H peeps will get this one… trying & failing & trying again = winning)
4️⃣ Have confidence in yourself, your failures and your discomfort (all you have is YOUrself)
5️⃣ There is wealth in women in numbers (I’ve learned this truly as a woman in business - when women level up on their own and collectively together, then communities rise up.. the research proves this. This is an area that πŸ”₯ me up!)
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
I’m so grateful for last week β™₯️. It’s putting into perspective everything I’m meant to do, the things I need to unlock to try, and the people I’m so fortunate to have gotten to meet on this journey so far, including the women who were in the room last week .
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
Full circle of life moment thanks to who killed it on the mic as the MC, who introduced me to .coaches.entrepreneurs all those years ago, who hosted an incredible event embodying everything that is what an empowered entrepreneur is and should be ❀️❀️ What a day xo

12/14/2023

How would you know you’re β€˜living in alignment?’
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
That what you’re doing every day, is what you were meant to do. Like you may *actually* be living the life you were put on this earth and meant to live.
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
This is something I would have previously read and most likely laughed at... living in alignment? Like, what does that even mean!! 😳
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
And yet, I used to ask myself this question all the time when I was a few years into my career without realizing it was called β€˜alignment’.
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
I think I just called it β€˜being happy.’
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
Regardless, it was when I realized I wanted something more from my career.
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
I didn’t know exactly how I would make it happen. It felt daunting, scary and overwhelming when I thought about wanting something more β€˜in alignment’ with who I was, but didn’t know how to go about it or who to turn too.
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
I kept reading alllll of the books, and they either were so generic and β€˜fairytale’ like (aka love your life) or so detailed and specific (aka. double your sales by 100X) that none of the books worked (at the time).
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
(If I shared the list of books I’ve read and some of the stuff I tried to develop my skills, you’d laugh! πŸ˜‚)
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
One of the things I’ve only recently started talking about is how choosing to be a business owner and choosing entrepreneurship, is what made me realize I was in alignment with what I was supposed to do.
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
The topic(s) of what I do in my business are evolving as I grow my businesses, but it’s what is at the root of owning my own business that is what I’ve realized matters:
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
autonomy, flexibility, freedom, personal accountability - you call the shots & you create/control your future.
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
It leaves your destiny up to you - which can be scary as hell, and wickedly exciting.
β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €
It’s why I’d love to see YOU take that risk on yourself too.

You know that feeling in your gut? When you know you're on the right track? Like all the stars are (finally) aligning?
That pull deep down that assures you it's all making sense?
That you're finally doing what you were meant to do?

Like you’re realizing you’re on the right journey...
even though the destination may be new?

yea,
that feeling.

I'm having that incredible feeling lately and I feel so grateful for it πŸ™πŸ» I've had some of the most *invigorating* conversations and opportunities with the best people the last few weeks, talking about the things that *truly* fuel my fireπŸ”₯

It reassures me to the journey I'm on as a business owner, as a woman and as part of my community and influencing real change.

And I want so many more people, in particular women in business and as business owners, to feel this same way πŸ’₯

I love helping my corporate clients do what I do with Crowley + Arklie Strategy & Co - communicating their why digitally, especially in our agriculture + food sector.

And it's made me realize how much I want to see MORE business owners, particularly women, DO business - to make impact, to fulfill the purpose I know you're seeking and build a life by design that serves not only you, but ultimately the people you want to make change with.

There are so many women out there who I know want to do this (YOU!) And it's why for me, all the things I'm working on, are all making sense πŸ’₯

Today, I did something - something I’ve wanted to do for so so long with an incredible group of people - bringing to life an idea I’ve had for far too long ✨

Today is one of those days that will serve as a reminder,
that all is right in the world,
that good people are why the world exists,
of how important community is,
that our dreams are only as big as we dare to see them, &
that we are capable of *anything* we truly put our minds too.

(And I say all of this ending one of the craziest weeks πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’« we experienced in our household - with everyone being down and out sick this week - it was by far the toughest week we’ve experienced so far for our little fam of 5 🫣🫠πŸ₯΅πŸ€ͺ)

But alas, we survived, I survived and I was able to not just survive to end this week, but feeling like I was *thriving* today.

Today is ultimately a reminder - this is only just the beginning… and that excites the hell out of me πŸ˜‰

Today’s International Women’s Day is hitting differently for me this year, for so many reasons at this moment in time, this season of life, and this journey of evolution I’m on ❀️

I just sat through an incredible day of presentations and talks from women at the Women Entrepreneurship Summit (thanks FCC!), while being in a room of incredible women, some who I’m lucky to call friends. And Kenton made his conference debut with me to help celebrate πŸ˜‰

The theme of resiliency was weaved throughout the talks of the day and they couldn’t have landed at a time I needed to hear them most πŸ™πŸ»β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹

Women, we are so much stronger than we realize, more capable then we give ourselves credit for, the doers of our family’s and communities, the influencers with our dollars both in buying and giving (that’s a fact, the research shows), are *the* most resilient human beings considering what we live through (um, hi motherhood and the patriarchy πŸ‘‹πŸΌ) and ultimately, are the lasting legacies of our family’s in SO many ways.

Legacy is what I’m thinking about so much tonight - for Stella, for how I want to trailblaze for her so she can thrive - to the boys we’re raising who will be there alongside her every step of the way as her biggest cheerleader, champion and equals, and to the future generation of women we’re helping… by simply showing up each day. That’s celebrating the power of the β€œwoman.” πŸ’ͺ🏻 πŸ‘ŠπŸ»β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹

This picture from last fall, of Stella recognizing her 17-year old Fair Ambassador mommy hanging up on the wall at the Norwood Fair, just hits different today ❀️

Happy to all the women reading this, to my incredible circle of supporters, mentors, fellow business women and women I’m so damn fortunate to call friends and family ❀️

This is just one day of 365 we get to recognize how powerful we are πŸ”₯

This is the goal πŸ’₯

Even though I haven’t found time yet to sit down and do my planning for 2023, this is and always will be the goal we’re working towards πŸ˜˜β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹

Building a life we don’t need a vacation from… or at least we look forward to coming back from after a vacation πŸ˜‰

Where I don’t feel the need to take a trip to get away from life, I take trips to remind me how grateful I am for the life I’ve created to get back too πŸ™πŸ»

I love a damn good vacation, trust me, I really do, and I’ll never say no to one πŸ’ƒπŸ»

But if I had to choose, I’d choose the every day.

The bus drops off in the morning, the Starbucks coffees and life chats, the walks around our neighbourhood listening to a good podcast, invigorating chats with friends and fellow business owners, doing webinars from home, Zoom chats with clients and people I’d never imagine meeting in the first place, doing work that doesn’t feel like work, family dinners around the table, bath time laughs, enjoying a good read before bed.

It’s the everyday with my little fam, people I love, the work I do, the difference I get to make, the experiences, and the person I get to be. The every day I create ✨

That’s the goal ❀️

Our boy is here πŸ’™β£πŸ€β£
⁣
Kenton John Charles Arklie arrived on November 9th, relatively quickly like his sis and claiming our biggest babe title at 8 lbs 11 ounces and 22 inches πŸ‘‘ Of course he would wait and come the week of the RAWF, he’ll always have the best week of the year to celebrate his birthday πŸ˜‰β£
⁣
It’s been β€œbeautifully messy” adjusting to life with πŸ‘¦πŸΌπŸ‘§πŸΌπŸ‘ΆπŸΌ, there’s no other way to describe it. We’ve entered a new season of life that whether we thought we were prepared for, we could never have been fully ready for this β€œconstant chaos” that is this new life πŸ™ƒβ£
⁣
Watching Blake and Stella dote on their little brother and seeing Andrew as a father of 3, is simply what life is all about ❀️ In the sleep deprived late night hours, the bags under my eyes, through the happy and tired tears, the post delivery details we’ve worked through, potential school strikes and colds that every parent is dealing with right now, I’m reminded that this is what LIFE is all about and what dreams are made of- hard, messy, so worthwhile, and so damn beautiful in the end πŸ™πŸ»β£
⁣
BRB while I’m over here crying happy tears, listening to FGL’s new song β€œLife,” while we’re learning to create our new normal as a family of 5 πŸ₯°β€οΈπŸ˜˜

I’m so thankful the babe has given me time to myself this week - to prepare, to get ready, for self care, for rest (alllll the naps where/when possible!) and for reflection.
⁣
Women, how we do this as career professionals and mothers... I don't know why this time around I'm even THAT much more grateful for our superhuman powers πŸ™πŸ» Truly.⁣
⁣
Now that I’m catching my breathe before welcoming πŸ‘ΆπŸΌ #3 … I can’t help reflect back and think of this fall.⁣
⁣
Of how this is by far our craziest, busiest fall to date.. and we haven't even welcomed the baby yet πŸ˜‚ The Q3 we just experienced was one for the books.⁣
⁣
I finally pursued something I’ve wanted to do for so long in launching Communications Leadership Academy. This pic from my last maternity leave, was where the seeds were planted.. for the ideas I finally pursued this fall. That's what happens when you read Daring Greatly by Brene Brown for the 8263384647 time πŸ˜‰ There were new business ventures, new business ideas. There were travel days. Early mornings, long/late nights. Doing things that made us feel uncomfortable, that stretched me FAR beyond my comfort zone.⁣
⁣
I kept joking I birthed a child this fall... before actually birthing a child. (Some days I wondered if that was a smart thing to be doing/saying with what we had on our plate in every aspect of life 🀯)
⁣
And while there were days I questioned what we had taken on, I also would tell anyone that there isn't ever going to be a 'perfect season of life'... if you have an idea that you feel so strongly you have to try and pursue... DO IT. ⁣
⁣
Even when it's hard (I honestly hope I NEVER make this look easy), the blood, sweat and tears are worth it.. in moderation of course! This saying couldn't be more true,⁣
⁣
β€œYou either quit or keep going. They both hurt. Read that again."⁣
⁣
, are we now ready?! πŸ‘ΆπŸΌπŸ™πŸ»β€οΈ

Documenting my last day of work today before I prepare to get ready for the πŸ‘ΆπŸΌβ€™s arrival ❀️⁣
⁣
This fall has been insanely crazy, busy and beautiful all at the same time. To say I’m not ready for this mat leave is an understatement πŸ™ƒβ£β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹
⁣
As much as I can’t wait to welcome this babe, I’m also sad to be leaving work and have to wind down to mentally prepare myself for a completely different β€œbrain function” that my fellow mama’s know all too well, is required to be a mom to a newborn, than working.⁣
⁣
Am I as prepared and well rested as I wanted to be? Nope. Do I have emails still to return? Yep. Have I had to leave work on the table. Yep. Should I have probably wound down sooner to get ready for this mat leave. Probably. But I’ve loved what I worked on this fall in my business. I’m feeling so many different things this time around, heading out on mat leave. ⁣
⁣
And therein lies the tension - of motherhood and identity/career as a woman.⁣
⁣
The mindset shift that is required for a woman to switch from career professional to mom at home in newborn mode is not talked about enough. (I’m going to find the β€œword” and talk about this more, I promise).⁣
⁣
In the meantime, I’m going to put the out of office on, try and put my feet up and begin to ask my brain to shift mentally for what is ahead … oh, and try and catch up on that little thing called sleep that this baby has not wanted for me this fall 😜

I’ve been thinking about this alot lately, reflecting on the β€œright time” to do something.⁣
⁣
How we wait (or are waiting) until the β€œright conditions.”⁣
⁣
The right season of life.⁣
The right place we’re at in our lives.⁣
The right feeling.⁣
The right moment. ⁣
Or the right stage in our career or parenthood (which for women is a whoolllleeee other conversation and something I WILL be talking more about).⁣
⁣
We’re always waiting until the right time… ⁣
And guess what?⁣
⁣
It sadly never comes. ⁣
Because, the right time, never happens πŸ’₯ 🀯⁣
⁣
It’s actually the times we’re forced to do something in the unplanned, imperfect times of life, that propel us to do the things we’ve always wanted to do.. and need to do for our own self satisfaction.⁣
⁣
I think about this so much lately with launching a course before having a baby, taking a second maternity leave as a business owner, losing my job in politics that helped me start my business.⁣
⁣
So many incredible people I know out there have ideas, have businesses they want to try, have careers & jobs they want to leave, are sharing posts about β€œwho they’ll become” and know deep down the endeavours they truly want to try, pursue and follow.⁣
⁣
There’s more to us than we think of waiting for the β€œright time.” There’s fears, things holding us back, financial concerns, uncertainty, failure - all things that damn we’ll scare us, I get it, I do.⁣
⁣
If you’ve always thought of doing something, pursuing something, investing in yourself, enrolling in that course, starting or trying something, being someone - please don’t wait. Take this as your sign πŸ”₯ ⁣
⁣
You’ll be so much happier with yourself that you did it, you tried, you bet on yourself, and gave yourself permission ❀️ This is one message I’m leaning into more and more as a woman business owner πŸ™πŸ»
