It’s been an incredibly hard decision to make, but after almost 8 years, The Wok Show will be coming to an end. I started this thing in 2017 to help contribute to the music and arts community in a way I wasn’t able to, since I stopped touring. The show enjoyed a slow but steady and organic growth overall, but the truth is, it’s been a rough year for The Wok Show. Despite going weekly, partnering with the amazing Hypernova Radio, introducing bonus content and ramping up social media marketing, the numbers have actually dipped. It’s never easy to admit defeat, but I’ve always been honest with you, and I won’t stop now.

Then there’s the mental health side of it. With my business growing, my role as a caregiver expanding and the show’s workload constantly increasing, I couldn’t keep up. My mental health took a beating, and something had to give. I owe my family and loved ones the best version of myself.

I made a ton of new friends along the way and I’m incredibly proud of what we accomplished together. I’ll still be around, cheering on my fellow musicians, artists and entrepreneurs. I’ll still be a friend to anyone and everyone that gets after their dreams. Come say hi at a show! I’m all over the map, these days! I might do one last episode, explaining this in more detail. Right now, it’s still a bit too painful to bring myself to do. Just goes to show how much love I have for this thing we built and all of you, for helping me build it.
