Engine bottom end rebuild in progress last night!! Should have the topend installed this evening! This KTM 300 XC-W TPI is going to be a whole new bike !!

Shout out to redlinepowercraftgp for getting my KTM parts quickly!! Only took a few days from order to arrival!! Has not even been a week since I seized this engine on the race track.

Some of my OEM engine parts list entails of :
-new crank shaft
-new crank shaft bearings and seals
-new trans bearings and seals
-new cylinder
-new piston

Now that its coming together , I really cant wait for the extra goodies for this engine to arrive 😁

Ice bike is tore down and parts are everywhere!!

Got my OEM engine rebuild parts ordered from Red-Line Power Craft should be here early next week!
Aswell i got some extra goodies coming from BRC Racing 😁

Excited to get this KTM 2 stroke back on the ice-track burning gas and kicking ass!

More ice racing action this weekend!!

Racing has been great so far this year. Round 3 and 4 are coming up this weekend. Weather is looking colder than last weekend, so bring some warm clothes.

Day 2 for me at the ice races ended quickly. seized bottom crankshaft rod bearing 🥲 time to order some OEM KTM parts from Red-Line Power Craft and get my ice racing bike running again for the next Wapiti Off-Road Association studs on ice event!!

Check out this chase cam taken by Clayton Dyer during the first lap of the first WORA studs on ice event for 2025! This holeshot run was the only moment my 300 ran crispy
Once i got passed the sputtering started to happen and progressively got worse through out the day.
Installed a different OEM engine cylinder last night, We will see how day 2 goes today!!!

Got 2 days practice with a few hot laps in before WORA studs on ice events this weekend!! Unfortunately i did not get any good footage today, other then a bunch of slowmo 😅

Progress on my ice racing steed!!

Just got to fix a coolant hose and install a fresh pipe i got from Alpine Powersports 🤘
Then just to reinstall the plastic and the fuel tank and im ready to test!!
Hopfully my Chinese cylinder and crank that is installed into my 2019 ktm300 will do the job!!
Looking forward to the Wapiti Off-Road Association studs on ice events this weekend on Clairmont lake , Alberta

First ice race of the season is fast approaching!!

Notice: For the 2025 race season, all racers will be required to use a Mylaps transponder for timing and scoring. Transponders can be purchased for $250 or rented for $40/weekend.
