Team TIA hauled over 2,000lbs (or laid end-to-end, 200’) worth of brand-new ROCK markers to the all-new TIA Sea Container earlier today! These NEW markers were part of a larger buy that also included 20 SHOAL markers for Save The River- that are on their way to Northern Marine Inc Northern Marine in Clayton.

Leeds 1000 Islands will be issuing a PARTIAL BURN BAN effective today – THURSDAY June 10th AT 23:59hrs UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. Under this Partial Burn Ban, Campfires, Cooking Fires, Outdoor Fireplaces, Chimeneas, and appliances with a mechanical shut off, (ie. Propane or natural gas equipment) ARE PERMITTED with a proper Burn Permit.

Agricultural burns, brush piles, burn barrels, incinerators and other types of outdoor burning are NOT permitted.

Community I The splash pad is open for use. Public washrooms at Joel Stone, Behind Town Hall and the Visitor Centre (10 King St East) are open for use.

Splash pad 8:00a.m. – 8:00p.m.
Joel stone washrooms: 8:00a.m. – 9:00p.m.
Town Hall washrooms: 8:00a.m. – 3:00p.m.
Visitor Centre washrooms: 10:00am - 12:30pm & 1:30pm - 4pm.(closed from 12:30pm - 1:30pm for cleaning)

Please note: The washrooms behind Arena will closed due to construction until June 25, 2021
