Just about a month ago, I posted a video of a wordless song I'd made up.
I think I've found some lyrics that reflect the sombre melancholy of the melody.
Let me know what you think and happy Friday π»
Just found this slideshow of our older cat Kiki Dee I put together a few years ago and had forgotten about.
I'm sharing it, partly cos it's National Cat Day but also because I kind of like the stock music G**gle added to it...sounds like a Blue Rodeo song almost?
Happy Cat Day from Jen, me, Jolene and ofc the Keeks McGee herself π±
Hi everybody it's been awhile, eh?
I've been somewhat immersed in my new gig working for the province (and loving it), so I haven't been motivated to post much.
With preparations well underway for our 13th Annual Walkerween Party Saturday night, I thought I'd take a moment from watching my wife put up all the decorations to soak in some of this sweet βοΈ and make up a tune for you. What would you name it?
Thanks as always for visiting π€
This was a smash country hit for Mark Chesnutt thirty (π«¨) years ago this month!
Do you remember it?
Our weekend got even better after this visit to Bouctouche, when Jen finally got to dig into her lobster plate
A Vince Gill chune for my wee Scottish friend with the Dolly profile pic
Always loved this Pam Tillis tune... I'll post the original with Vince Gill singing harmony, in the comments
In early 1994, I'd been working in country radio for just under two years and I was starting to like more of the edgier stuff. This song from the great Kelly Willis was a VERY minor hit around that time and I still think it's great.
Kelly never got the career she deserved but then, that's always been a fact in the music industry, like it or not. Regardless, please enjoy my shortened version and do yourself a favour and look Ms Willis up. She also had a small part in the film Bob Roberts, which is also worth a watch.
#HappyFriday
One of my favorite (and there are many) one-hit wonders of the 1970's... Can you name the song and the artist?
Happy Labour Day weekend!
Hey all! I've been immersing myself in the new gov't job π
Update coming soon... Meanwhile, I'm still 'learnding' π
Happy long #NewBrunswickDay weekend, friends and countrymen !!
You CANNOT tell me this isn't a country song
What are YOUR plans, big or small?
Hope it's fabulous, either way
