Indigenous Language Day 2025
Yesterday was National Indigenous Language Day, we were asked to put together a compilation of community members speaking the Mi'kmaq language and here are all of the great submissions! 🗣💗

Word of the week for March 3rd-9th. The lakes and ponds are still frozen over, perchance get in some ice fishing or some skating before it all melts. 🥶
Word of the week for February 24th-March 2nd. Cedar is medicine in our Mi'kmaq traditions, and normally represents the Winter in the Medicine wheel. Cedar baths are one way we use this medicine. It also can be made into a really yummy tea. 🍵 😋
