Robbie would enter his First year ever on track into the Junior Late mode division at Peterborough speedway. Robbie and his father Chad would both start racing in 2024 and have to learn the tips and tricks on how to get around Canada's toughest 1\3 mile oval. Robbie would start his year off like any rookie with feeling the car out and progressing with more and more speed every race. Robbie would be caught up in an accident roughly half way through season that would reel the young driver in a little bit as he fought to increase his skills at a young age. Robbie would compete with the pack in the Jr. late models by end of season and end up 4th in points at the end of the year.

Robbie's rookie campaign is fueled by Kawartha craftsman, Perry Mechanical Inc, Pro Muskoka electrical services Inc, Verona Vineyards, Dunnete Roofing, Wetlands powersports, Beurling Mosaic and Bobcaygeon Kustom Creations.

Robbie has grown so much as a driver in 2024 and we can't wait to see where racing takes him here at JoMo Media.

2024 would see Cory Horne build himself a brand new race car for the first time in his young oval track career. He would start with a car straight off the roads of Ontario streets and build it in the off season to be one of the quickest cars consistently around Peterborough speedway. Cory would find himself being a front runner scoring himself not only a heat win but his first feature win in the bonestock division. Cory would also expand out in 2024 moving into multi car team buying the #53 that Johnny McIntyre would race under the Cory Horne Racing banner and he would come home with 6 heat wins and rookie of the year honors. With the year being full of ups and a few untimely crashes not of his own doing Cory would end up 5th in points.

Cory also got to try his Hand in the Renegade Truck class at Peterborough driving the marsh motorsports #38 truck which he plans on running full time in 2025 as well racing in his teams 2 bonestocks with his team mates Johnny, and Wayne.

Cory sponsors on his #09 Acura Integra so far for 2024 are Canadian Tire Cobourg, Seamless Exteriors, Boundy Roofing and MetalCraft Kustoms

Gary would unload a new car for 2024 and look at gaining experience and being on more of a level playing field with a major set of updates from his last pro late model in 2023. Gary would have a season that he would dedicate racing to his father who had passed earlier in 2024 and would even carry some ashes in the car bring his dad along for the ride. Gary came close to winning in 2024 but just couldn’t seal the deal against a tough field of pro late models at Peterborough speedway. Gary would have few great nights finding him self in tech lane on almost regular occurrence but with couple rough nights would ultimately end up 6th in the Peterborough points standings.

Gary off season began with a wedding with Cheryl and him getting married but also Gary would already start working towards 2025 and rebuilding his Late model to be faster and handle even better with all the new tips and tricks they learned. Gary also plans on running in his superstock part time for 2024.

Gary thanks his Marketing partners for 2024 of C Patterson equipment repair, Napa, and Ducks automotive for being such great supporters of his race team.

We are excited to welcome back Victoria McLenon back to JoMo Media for 2025!

2024 saw Victoria pick up three heat wins and finished 6th in the Bone Stock division at Peterborough Speedway. We are excited to follow her continue growth in the division and see if she can race her way to a feature win in 2025!

Thank you to all the drivers who came out and supported the first JoMo Grand Prix event in support of The Super Sophia Project. 17 racers joined us for an exciting day of racing and in total we raised $210 that will go towards The Super Sophia Project to create Love Boxes that will be filled with toys, crafts, clothes, gift cards etc.

Mr. hot lap Champion Corey Halbert with a year that he isn't likely to forget any time soon. Corey was know to unload a fast Canadian modified at Brighton speedway or even when he went and toured to other tracks. Corey would have a consistently quick car almost the entire year with minor hiccups slowing him down but they would always bounced back with hard work and determination to get back to top form. By season end Corey would find himself 5th in points all while making positive changes to his dirt modified to improve even more for 2025.

Corey and his wife would also welcome a new member to their family mid season this year making it a year they wont forget anytime soon. This would also be a full season laughing with friends and family either at the track or while working on the car.

Corey would like to thank his family and friends for supporting him doing what he loves to do. And also a huge thank you to the marketing partners that keep his season moving in the right direction J&J insulation, GTA fabrication, FLATHEADS DESIGNS, Fastenal Oshawa, Oshawa community credit Union, Worldwide turf Inc, Amara Farm Service, Cochrane Automotive, DrillCo cutting tools, Walter surface technology.

Victoria even though she joined us late in the season she was improving her skills all season. Looking back on 2024 you could say it had its ups and downs but overall one of her best years racing since she has started her young career. With running her yellow and red prelude to 3 heat victories and multiple trips to the tech lane and even being fastest driver on the track some night all in front of her family and her friends that support and cheer her on. Victoria would end her season just on the outside of the top 5 in points in 6th place in a super stacked field of talented drivers and fast cars. Victoria would also be the highest points placing female racer at Peterborough speedway for 2024 bonestocks.

We at JoMo Media are proud of Victoria’s growth and success in 2024, once again with 3 heat wins, a great year end points result and even making the A-Main at Autumn Colours Classic in her slower back up car.

Victoria couldn’t race every year without the love and support from her family and friends and also the great support from her marketing partners Comic Alley Toys, Babins Automotive.

Make sure you stay tuned as she prepares for 2025 in the fast lane!
