Burning Water is a fiction magazine in which speculative/science fiction and nature writing converge. Launched out of Edmonton, Alberta in 2015 by Kristen, Toby, and Chris, Burning Water offers a space for an unexplored and contemporary era of nature writing. We invite you to submit stories that combine nature themes with science fiction/speculative fiction writing. We seek to explore the natural
