I didn’t realize how deep in the dark and dingy cave of unhappiness I was until I was searching for my way out of it
Theres no true clarity on your evolution when it happens progressively over time.
I can’t even tell you the moment I became miserable. It just happened..
But I truly thought I was on the right path to success!
I did the “supposed to do” things
✔ Graduate with honors
✔ Post-Secondary School
✔ Decent paying career
✔ Buy home
✔ Pay off school debt
✔ Start saving for retirement
The things I didn’t see that were happening..
✗ Cancel plans cause your too mentally drained
✗ Develop social anxiety, bailing on events so you don’t have people asking and reminding you about the job your trying not to cry about
✗ Make note of the weather patterns so you have a go to subject changer
✗ Perfect the “smile and nod”
✗ Have an excuse ready incase you need to retreat
✗ Never make set plans just incase you don’t have the energy to commit
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying my career is solely responsible for the creation of all this, but it sure as hell didn’t help
I quit this career 1.5 yrs ago and I’m still struggling
But I’m not in that dark cave anymore…
I see the light
I see my potential
Honestly, I wouldn't be here discovering who I am without this community I am now a part of.
I stumbled on this opportunity awhile ago and at the time I wasn’t mentally ready for what it entailed
I didn’t believe in this 80/20 rule

Well I’m a believer now…
I've now done more work on my own personal growth than I have in my entire life

why should we have to settle for a day to day life that we hate just to get by.
At what point do we say ok enough is enough, my happiness comes first..

Quite frankly I wish someone would have pushed me to forget about the “supposed to do” list and just do what feels right from the beginning

For the last couple of yrs I've been learning & building a way to leverage an income online
I've decided to go all in on this experience & start using social media as a way to make a living rather than just mindlessly scrolling
In the background I've been spending time learning all the ins & outs of building this business
Even though people may have doubted me or told me “that stuff never works and I am getting scammed..”

The path isn’t always as clear as it seems to be
Sometimes I take a wrong trail at the fork in the road
But I always find myself back on the right path eventually

There is absolutely no way that you can become the best version of yourself by staying where you are.
Flow

Basically true…
Life is always in motion
Have you ever been on a swing or had to push a kid, maybe an under ducky…
Did you feel or see the momentum that needs to take place in order for the swing to keep moving
If you are just kind of sitting there limp like the swing doesn’t go for very long
The lack of movement brings the swing to a stop surprisingly quickly
(you know what I’m talking about after about the 10th under ducky…)
But if the body gets pumping
Pushing that forward momentum and
Embracing that backward glide
You start to swing even higher until the butterflies swoop in
And it really didn’t take much,
you just had to keep moving in the directions you were going.
Each pump back and forth wasn’t more then the last, yet you keep gaining momentum
Kind of like life when you really think about it…
Hang in there, things do get easier!

Our thoughts can sometimes shape the world around us.

Then there is no way we can move forward and evolve into the people we are meant to be.
Stop being afraid to dream
Your dreams should scare you

I have no idea what I’m doing! Of course I know the basics but do I have all the answers? No. Do I know what to do every time I come across an obstacle? No. Do I come up with a solution to every one of my problems? Also no. But...Do I quit? No. Do I cry? Maybe a little, sometimes a lot… Do I take a break? Yes. Do I shut down? Yes but most often it’s more of a reboot, sometimes its an “unplug for a few minutes cause the fan is making loud noises” situation but I always start back up again… Do I continue to keep doing the things that make me happy even though I have no idea what I am doing? YES YES YES ALWAYS! I always think about a child learning to walk, I heard someone give this analogy and it really just stuck with me because it’s so obvious. We’ve all seen it happen! Babies don’t know what they are doing when they start learning how to walk. Most of the time no one explains to them the process of walking, they might mimic you putting one foot in front of the other but there’s no explanation or manual on how to balance while all the muscles in the body do what’s necessary to walk. It’s all practice and persistence!They also don’t give up after falling, even after a thousand times of falling and hurting themselves... what if they decided right then and there after that first fall that it was just too hard, they don’t know how to do this, and they will just never walk… that would never happen right! OF course there are difference circumstances and sometimes it will take time and maybe some assistance but overall, they learn it and don’t give up.So why are we so quick, as adults, to jump to the conclusion that if we don’t know how to do it then we just aren’t even going to try?The point is we can’t have all the answers and know what to do at every turnWe just have to start and keep learning along the way... #youcandothis #yourjourneystartshere #achieveyourdreams #startrightnow #dreambigworkhard #keepgoingforward #buildyourlife #t

Do you meditate?… It really is an amazing thing to be able to let your mind rest for a few moments.. Take away the clutter and distractions and see how clear your path can get… Do you have some kind of morning routine to kick start your day? If you don’t, you should…When I’m running short on time or I’m really distracted throughout the day, I like to use the relax feature I have on my Fitbit. I set it for 5 minutes and it vibrates for my inhales and exhales.
