We set up this 90-second time lapse to showcase the full action-packed day of dismantling the world's largest hockey stick and puck on August 21, 2024 in Duncan, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. Thanks to Genuine Collectibles Inc. for the opportunity to also film the entire occasion up-close with a drone, and a shout out to the Cowichan Valley Regional District who had proudly hosted these iconic (but decaying) art pieces at the Cowichan Community Centre since shortly after Expo 86.

See the farm from above! 🖼

Recently, Andrew from IslandDrone (islanddrone.ca) stopped by our farm and took this beautiful HDR photo.

Interesting fact: a high-dynamic range (HDR) photo is made up of 2+ images with different exposures stacked on top of each other so that the shadows and highlights can be adjusted in post-processing. This photo is made with 5 images, which are developed digitally and adjusted until it seems at its most photogenic, at least to the photographer's eye.

Thank you, Andrew, for sharing your photo with us! 🌿
