Story and Song is hosted by Kim Bannerman Pigott/.bannerman, a local author, and features her short stories. The stories will go deeper into the characters from her book series titled "A Circus Salmagundi Mystery", which includes "Truly the Devil's Work".

On this May 1st, International Workers' Day, CVOX is bringing you the first episode of our new talk show: Labour Beat. Catch it at cvox.ca on Wednesdays at 6 pm!

Hosted by Brian Charlton and Steve Harvey, Labour Beat intends to provide coverage of the labour movement in BC, with an emphasis on the Comox Valley.

Labour Beat will cover union activities (including strikes, campaigns, and concerns) and labour history, featuring interviews with historians and workers. It will also delve into worker-oriented culture, such as theatre and poetry, while bringing you informative topics like pensions, populism, affordable housing, steward info, and more.

Each show will also work in a few good songs to boot! Listeners, come to be informed, and stay to be entertained!
