wow, it's been a minute since I spent much time here. I'm excited about this year and all the promise it holds. as I continue down the road into indie-author supports and self-publishing guidance, I'm learning a lot and exploring new things! One thing I'll be doing is attending this conference to broaden my knowledge and network. I'm excited!

Tool alert!! If you're not already using Loom... I highly recommend it. Especially if your job includes helping others learn how to do things.

Asynchronous video is catching on fast, and Loom thinks it's going to change the way we work. And maybe do everything else, too.

The new Gutenberg visual editor... I'm still on the fence, but I'm sure we'll all get used to it.

Gmail Pro-tip: SAVE SO MUCH TIME by adding the "preview pane" LAB to your gmail. (Settings>Labs>Preview Pane, enable that @&T%!!) No more opening and closing every darn email to read them... i don't know why it's not a default function. I've used it for years, but am always surprised when managing a client's email that they haven't discovered it yet. Trust me. :)

So a new "season" begins... festivals are done for now, and the ramp up to year end is underway. I am delighted to say I will focusing my work on existing clients and the mountains of work we have to do together - which leads to the fact that I will not be accepting new clients for the foreseeable future, but WILL be accepting new work from old clients!
