The Pearl Ellis Gallery held a very successful opening reception today for the first show of 2025, Lenses and Layers!🌟 Several of artists were in attendance, including Glenn Gustafson, Lori Kenney and Rachel Henshaw!🌟This spectacular show, featuring many talented photo, textile and digital artists' works, runs until Saturday February 1st🌟 Congratulations to all of the artists participating in this dynamic show🌟 and thank Pearl Ellis Gallery for hosting a very nice Everyone Welcome reception!🫶💯

COMOX Corner News' Terrie Anderson was busting some moves at the Comox Community Centre this morning, during Coach Laurel's Kick Boxing class!😅🙌 Laurel's class is full this session, but if you're looking for an energizing fitness class for the Spring, this class is dynamic and fun, and suitable for all fitness levels!🌟 Thank you, Laurel, for taking time to show what you do!👊🫶💯

Eby's Business Services , at the corner of Anderton and Comox Avenue, has the staff working hard to be fully operational next week, after going through a transformation!🌟 Heading the renovation is Eby's proprietor, James Eby, who was on site today working hard so customers can walk in next week and see all the positive changes, and get their needs met!🙌🌟In the meantime, Eby's is open for business and the staff will assist customers as best as they can!🙌 Best wishes for a successful renovation🫶💯 Eby's is definitely a Best Place in the Comox Valley to get office, framing and copy work done!💯🙌🌟

To welcome in the New Year, it seemed fitting to go to the Beaufort Ave Pub Comox BC where the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 160 Comox was hosting the annual New Year's Levee reception!🌟The pub was busy with military members and community members, all enjoying the first day of the year!🌟 The annual serving of complementary ice cold Moose Milk, the traditional New Year's day drink of the military, was over, as all was served up and enjoyed at the time of this post, but the pub was still offering a hot coffee version!🌟 A notable guest, offering greetings for the new year, was the new Comox Legion Executive President, former vice-president Wayne Hockley aka The Hawk, who, as of today, replaces outgoing president Gerry Maillet ( thank you for your years of excellent service as president Gerry! 🫶💯 )Thank you to the Comox Legion for hosting this wonderful, engaging, and very merry yearly event at a Best Place in Town, the Beaufort Pub!🫶💯🌟

This is Maya!🌟Maya is volunteering her time to help fundraise for playground equipment at École Robb Road Elementary School 🌟 Maya is selling delicious hot chocolate for $2 down at Port August Park for the next while today🌟Maya is doing this all on her own, when she gets a chance, and has already raised quite a lot of money to help with this every worthy cause🫶🙌💯 Thank you, Maya, for exhibiting great leadership skills and for making a positive difference in the Comox community! 🤗 It's commendable what you are doing!🌟💓

Meet Comox Community Centre Fitness Instructor, Laurel!🌟Laurel was out last night celebrating the festive season with coworkers and wants you to know she is teaching a Kick Boxing class in January at the Comox Community Centre!🙌 Laurel's class is sure to be dynamic, energizing and fun!🌟

Gary finished the final Fall Butts and Guts 9 am class at the Comox Community Centre strong!🙌Gary thoroughly enjoyed Paula Dickie's energizing classes and he looks forward to starting back up again January 14th!🌟 Thanks for taking time at the end of your class, Gary, to show what you do, and do so well!👊💯
The community centre has many fitness classes for all fitness levels with registration for the Winter classes and other programs ongoing now through to January!🌟
