Sometimes in life ya gotta take shots...

At midnight we enter a new era 👹

I haven’t rolled out a solo project since March 2023. That happened to be my most successful album to-date and I’m excited to see where we can take this next one.

This EP has six songs, less than typical, as I aim to improve the caliber of my music over this next set of releases.

The first single is called “sometimes” and it’s about taking on risks, betting on yourself, and staying true to who you are.

Produced by one of my favourite beatmakers out of Vancouver, , and engineered by the talented + .apatow. Mastered by . The entire project is exclusively produced by these dudes and it’s 🔝 quality.

For half the year this whiteboard was full of goals and priorities but then I realized these are the four most critical thoughts for me to live by. If I lead with these reminders everyday I will get to where I need to be.

So who’s excited for this next chapter?? Reinvention awaits - a new sound, fresh start, and infinite possibilities of what’s to come thereafter.

Anyone else struggling to find the time? 😂

The naysayers will say you don’t want it bad enough..
. but the one’s who’ve been there before know it’s all about the long game. Just ask who I’ve been resonating with a lot this year.

When you’re putting heavy hours into multiple passions (your art & 9-5 that are both important to you) along with everything else life has to offer, balance is not always attainable.

There’s an inevitable paradigm shift that occurs from time to time… You’re called to other things that will also shape your journey and who you are. These experiences are important for developing your character.

With that said, I am this person right now. I catch myself feeling bad about it like it’s a problem.. in reality it’s a blessing. I have countless things to look forward to and that has not always been true for me.

I remember days when I had no idea what I wanted my life to look like. Literally until my late 20s I had ZERO clue. I was a lost party animal without a barn.

Finding my identity through music gave me hope again. Moving across the country without direction solidified my independence. Finding my personal career in tech unlocked my business acumen. Finding my future wife created new purpose. Learning who I could truly count on in this crazy world provided solace.

None of the above was possible without first finding Pats.

My shift in perspective began with Pats and I promise you that Pats will be here for as long as I can breathe.

Keep embracing the journey; good things are coming.

Societal norms put me in a bad mood.. I guess it’s time to let ‘em know again. Been sitting on some of my best music for way too long. You may have noticed I’ve been expressing myself in my songs through a much more personal lens lately.. Pretty soon the floodgates will be opening but I’m gonna be spacing out my releases to allow breathing room. I have way too many released songs that haven’t been properly promoted because I stretch myself too thin.. but that’s life & you gotta keep moving. Working on a new album with too so tap in over there 🎰🫡 appreciate y’all for still being here as I don’t say it enough. ETJ! (embrace the journey)

Let’s talk about the power of collaboration 🫂

In my opinion, collaboration is within the top 3 most important aspects of growing as an artist - also, it’s critical for growing your audience!

I’m in the midst of rolling out the most dynamic and challenging piece of music I’ve ever touched being an executive producer for the first time.

Our upcoming collaboration album includes 20 different artists and producers. That’s 20 personalities and different work habits to align with… 😅

THANKFULLY I have been lucky enough to have artists on this project who care about the quality of their art and work ethic.

I know it isn’t always this way, and maybe that’s why some artists out there don’t collaborate as often?

For me; you have to keep an open mind when it comes to collaborating but also protect your energy.

Don’t put in what you aren’t getting back in return…

… & remember not to work with those people in the future! 😊

Collaborating can be time consuming, energy draining and hard to coordinate.

Collaborating can also be a beautiful development opportunity, a way to make life long connections (shoutout my boy !!) and exposure into a different audience segment.
